The first night of RP-PVP was a lagfest, but interestingly one of the most amazing starts and progresses that iā€™ve ever had the pleasure to play in.

First was a ritual of haruspicy doubled in attendance by the appearance of the Hand of Zul and then the united fighting with a few off-handed comments thrown at each other as the Trolls and Hand of Conquest still pressed against the bridge.

Ahh, it was an awesome night overall.

A grand betrayal has seem some of the 7th Rastari Cohort leave to join with the Hand of Zul.

With the loss of the beloved Tetrarch Teocalli and Talanjite Makona, those who remain have had to quickly pull together, ready to face all the new challenges that have appeared in the world.

War God Satrap has decreed, contrary to tradition, that a Priestess rather than a warrior is to lead them in the field.

Tetrarch Takā€™rata then named two of her most trusted allies to their new roles. Bladeguard Kezuga and Bloodied Quriā€™Lah.

With betrayers, traitors, Alliance, escapees, and now Nagaā€¦ What will the Painted Shields get up to next?!

Well I can tell you that itā€™s some loa worshipping and then hosting the Senā€™jin village hours next Tuesday before heading off to fight more Alliance!

Loss is a small set back but every win will bring back what we lost.
No matter what we lose we will gain it back, we lost our king but got a heart of vengeance. We can lay our hands on our chest and rest as we become stronger. The day we get the better blessings of our loa will be the day that we will stand up once again and show them who we are.
We should not fear what happened, we should be aware and we should raise our heads and show them that this is nothing compared to the loss of King Rastakhan!

Tonight the Painted Shields joined their allies the Hand of Conquest in their worship of their Sun God, and received blessings from Apawi on behalf of their spirits.

Tomorrow we head to Dazarā€™alor to worship our Loa and ask their blessings for the coming battles.

If you want to join our loa blessings and shield painting ceremonies, just message Mjej, Takrata, or Rakyve who can get you inducted before we start!
