Though the delete came because of the idea to delete servers. I do not know how exactly but I think it would have maybe created problems with one character somewhere else. Though in the end they delete characters, yes characters not unactivated clones, anyway.
You are not the only one.
I disagree. If they would have connected them, they could effectivly delete one of the servers either. The differences in language would have turned this into a bad idea anyway as you can see right now on Lakeshire. Maybe they could have connected Zandalar and HWL but the question is if the Zandalari would have been happy if they would still see maybe half to two third of the realm not PvP tagged and so not attackable. Because I understood for them some immersion is that they could attack or being attacked by anyone and that would for them like some big tauren in a lascivious dress would suddenly step onto the desk in the silvermoon inn and start dancing.
From my opinion what could have helped all RP Realms but you will likely not want (to hear) this. Interserver Automated Dungeongroupfinder. Because then you would be able combining the pleasant with the useful and so would have the atmosphere of the RP Server with the ability to at least run dungeons. The dungeons in WotLK would be for PvE a big alternative unlike TBC and so you could have at least this big part covered.
I heard from many on Razorfen âYeah Celebras whas fine but the long search for Dungeon Groups made it unplayable in the long end.â I heard during mid TBC from someone else, that there where just to many dungeons in TBC for a small server like Celebras and that Classic had with BRD, UBRS, LBRS, Strat Living, Strat Dead, Maraudon and Diremaul the right amount of Dungeons where in TBC with Heroic mode the number whas to much.
