This = people just have some phobia of creating their own groups - hell, last time I even made a group for the storm’s fury that is otherwise a dead activity but I got my toy, finally!

Its because once people have gotten what they wanted from them there’s no reason to go there anymore.
Once the new patch hits you will see a drastic reduction in people doing Time Rifts or Dreamsurges and once the next expansion hits you’ll be lucky if you see 5 people doing them on peak times.
Its always happened though.
They don’t have to if they pick the right class. For instance my Hunter and my tank specced classes have np killing rares, except for the ones with daft affixes (yeah, looking at you spawning a swarm of birds that heal the rare from 5% to 100% in as many seconds). Just takes a bit of time and some knowledge of your specs weaknesses and strengths.
And given Blizzard’s never ending incessant need to play Friend Finder like facebook does and force you to “play together or else”, by which I mean if you don’t play their Holy trinity of M+ Normal and above raiding and PvP they throw you tidbits of content and call it “world content” that is more or less done in a week.
Then you are left with the ending of,

“Now go raid, M+ or PvP you filthy anti grouping sleazebag and stop bothering us with demands for better content outside of that. Go play Skyrim or something…”
Best rares i did were Arathi and Darkshore ones, all soloable and some had mounts or transmog, 1 big WB in each and easy portal to get there from main city of expantion.
I want to go back to BfA’s ease of life.
The “rare rares” or “beefy rares” or simply unrewarding rares are are bad but 2 of these 3 and its a naturally dead content.
You know what i think would help? remove lockout on zaralek cavern rares completly and make it so you can kill them over and over like in forbidden reach. At this point what is the harm if people can get drake fragments faster this close to next patch. Then we are gonna see lots of rare farming groups im sure

I do not agree with this statement whatsoever. Look into the history of the game if you want an answer why, I don’t want to bore you with a wall of text explaining it.
I remember. I didnt use it because legion didnt had everywhere events on the map going on so i have no idea why i needed it back then.
In my oppinion it is more about the weekly lockouts in the cavern. Like the rares Zereth Mortiz in shadowlands was even playable without grouping in season 4, where ZM opened in season 3. The whole difference is the lockout. With more people playing rares less grouping is needed.
Oh an ZM rares helped with doing the weekly. The cavern rares do not give rep. I am on 8 niffin rep and i try to get to 15 now because of the stupid rep requirement for normal flying. Killed a couple of rares yesterday, no rep at all. What is actually now the reason to do rares? I can’t find any reason to kill them.
