I just reported people who have been camping npc’s and camping low level areas obviously greifing, screw them they deserve any ban or mute they get, The whole event should have had an opt in or out system.

You’ve learned a valuable lesson, the world doesn’t revolve around you nor do you always get what you want. Deal with it. There are many ways to avoid this whole event for the most part, but you just don’t want to. It’s obvious much easier to cry on the forums about a minor inconvenience cause by an RPG event.

The only edgelords here are those who are constantly crying about a minor incovenience for a few days in an RPG, which can even be avoided for the most part.
They actually answered that question back in the days, when this happened the first time around.
I don’t remember the exact wording now obviously, but the meaning of their response was that this was a big deal for the entire world of Azeroth and they wanted everyone to feel the impact of it and what’s to come. So no they did not want people to be able to opt out.
