Blizzard PTR cleanses upon portal take.
Live servers it doesnt, and theres no way to prevent infection or cleanse it.
The anti doom, broom does not work.
Someone mentiones rhakghoul in SWTOR which is a totally different execution where things to prevent that acctually do work.
Its friday… its only lasts till tuesday so hang on just a little longer because nothing will change the coming few days… if you can not handle it do not come near to me because i will most certainly infect you when i get the chance.

This is Warcraft, not SWTOR. In that game the plague returns every set number of weeks. Its apples and pears.
Anyway, i just logged on for some ghoul action but even the player skeletons have now all dissapeared. So i guess nobody is interested anymore in playing a nerfed ghoul on my server.
So that was what … 2 days of ghoul event?
I hope you all get through the trauma in one piece… At least you all get to complain about it for 10+ times longer than it lasted.
You are completely missing the point when it comes to game execution of content and what not, and I am not gonna bother argueing your wall of text that irrelevant.
SWTOR’s event wasnt a buggy mess. You had the proper tools to not get infected or cure.

Its simple.

Where in zulda are healers? Where in IC are healers? Oh right…

There are healers in the cities. Ther are special camps for traumatised players where they can get cleansed.
Leaving those camps is at your own risk. Going all the way to dangerous Northrend is very irresponsible what with all the ghouling going on.
Its nobodies fault but your own when you don’t wear a mas… oh wait, when you don’t hug the healer 24/7.

You have no business going to Zuldazar in such dangerous times. There are healers in the capitals… go there and sit in the tent. Its there for a purpose.
Good, they came to their senses then. They must have thought that with all the nerfing done to this event having a cleanstool would be going a tad too far. Might as well remove the crates all together…
There is no loot to get that isn’t replaced within the first week of the expansion. Its catch up gear you will get through questing anyway.
Or do you think that players who come in long after this event ends will never be able to play the game due to no gear?
The only thing that is even remotely ‘worth’ crying about is the bag with 34 slots. The 30 slot bags cost little over 200g on the AH… do you need some gold for that? I can get you some if so.
32 slot bags cost 5k but mkay?

What exactly is fun about It? I’m genuinely curious to know. I personally got everything from the prepatch event, so I’m not bothered by the zombies, but I fail to see what people find fun about it.
Its a ghoul infestation in a game about you fighting monsters to save the world.
What is unique about this event is that you trade places with the ghouls and are player against npc’s one moment and npc against players the next.
Its things upside down and shaken around for a few days … or at least, thats what it could have been with a proper invasion.
I mean… if you don’t get it then what are you farming that gear for other than to fight monsters?
A proper invasion would be like legions pre patch, but oh well?

A proper invasion would be when you wouldn’t even be safe next to the healer because the healer would be turned as well.
