Hello Blizzard Team,
I’d like to ask a question on behalf of an active part of our server’s community.
We’re very interested in helping our server grow and stay active, and one of the best systems that has proven effective in the past are GDKP raids.
In short — these are raids where players can bid gold on dropped items, and the total pot is then distributed among all participants. This system encourages more players to join raids, increases engagement, and helps keep the in-game economy alive and healthy.
We understand this topic can be sensitive, so we would like to clarify the official position of Blizzard on this matter:
Is it allowed to organize and host GDKP raids on our server if they are conducted transparently, without involving any third-party platforms or real-money trading?
Could such community-driven events be permitted or even supported by Blizzard if their goal is purely to improve server activity and player engagement?
Our community is fully committed to following all Terms of Service and Blizzard rules. We simply want to make sure we’re acting correctly while trying to keep our server vibrant and enjoyable for everyone.
Kind regards,
[Slú / Living Flame]
