I know we can’t talk about the date, but the game is moving forward and it’s far enough along that we want Overwatch League playing it.“ → das klingt für mich alles eindeutig danach, dass das Releasedatum nicht vor der Season liegt. Und dass es sehr wohl so sein wird, dass die OWL ein Spiel spielen wird, das dem Fußvolk nicht zugänglich ist 
Aber ich finde das nicht unklug. Wenn OW2 so gut wird, wie es aktuell aussieht, finde ich das sogar sehr klug. Damit wird gleichzeitig das Spiel unendlich gehyped und zusätzlich sind die Zuschauerzahlen für die OWL dann so gut wie gesichert. Die OWL-Spieler machen dann Appetit auf das Spiel, und wenn die noch solche Sachen machen wie „Guck x Stunden OWL und sicher dir den exklusiven Skin xyz für OW2!“, dann werden sich Hype für Spiel und Liga gegenseitig verstärken. So denke ich wäre zumindest der Plan. Und ich kann mir vorstellen, dass das klappt.
