Start install button not working for Warzone

Yep! This was the secret sauce

This is still on going and no I have no MW installed, and even if I had, a “start install” button should NEVER do nothing lol

this is pretty embarassing

holy shit!! ive spend half of my day wrestling with the MW setup. till i read your comment.

Cheers dude!

Helped me too, thank you!

This is ridiculous, I never played a game with so much bugs like COD Warzone, I’m stopping to play this game, if I will want got angry I would do another thing.

This was happening to me just now. I was trying to install directly from the COD Warzone client that gets initially downloaded. Instead I downloaded the battle.net client which is a different download. Worked fine.

I had the same issue with the start install button not doing anything. Download the blizzard software on battle.net and install it on that, it should work

Same here! Kinda starting to give up… was really excited to try this game when i found out it was free to play, but oh well. Such a weird problem of fortnite merch tho right? I mean ive had issues with starting games and connecting to battle.net app before, but starting an install? never.

I went onto battlenet launcher rather than clicking to install warzone alone. Selected play for free button and it started to download for me. Hope this help you all.

Worked for me too, thanks!

Thank goodness i saw this post. i sent blizzard a ticket and the sent me through a bunch of steps that consisted on deleting the files and redownloading them which turned out to not work anyway. Now, i nstead, i went through the battle.net launcher and it worked right now its at 68 % finally ill be able to play cod on a Pc

Legend! It worked for me too

i have the same issue but when i click install it says calculating file size and its been going on for around 8 hours

I have the same issue with cod Cold War now. It seems like a lot of players are facing the same problem

When I tried to download war zone on PC the download and “estimating size” kept spinning after I pressed install. After deleting MWLauncher from my external SSD 2TB and my computer that only had 75GB available I searched folder for battle.net and open that folder, it takes you to a different blizzard launcher. From there I pressed the same buttons to download it. Because my PC only had 75GB left it already showed “not enough space to download” I pressed “change storage” to external SSD then pressed download and Boom… its downloading. Hope this helped as the other replies were from early on.

spot on mate! funny how such a s**t company can’t get this sorted so it installs from all sources. Shocking! shame steam didnt by the rights to supply the game

This work thank for ass

yeah i agree with you the weird problem of fortnite merch. But i found another solution to solve problem from modern travis scott merch its help me alot.

I managed to solve it by disabling the anti malware, although there may be other reasons, disk space, damaged files in battle.net… it’s quite common and there are several possible solutions. Look at some of the guides on the internet on the subject.

Have you tried reinstall?
