The BNET "What's New" popup HAS TO GO

I’ve had an absolute gutful of these constant “What’s New” popups. Even Steam lets us disable this garbage. The launcher never used to have these annoying popups and there is no “don’t show again”.

How do I block this junk completely? I don’t care what I have to do, but this is just too aggressive for my taste. The launcher is already about as bad as bloatware gets. Even videogamedunkey recently roasted it to oblivion.

Does anyone have a workaround at all? Customer support doesn’t seem to care whatsoever and Blizz reps have been utterly useless. Has anyone else figured a way out themselves? Please do share, thanks!

Its annoying and needs to go.

its still there. Bliz WAKE UP

But how else will you be able to know that Sea of Thieves, a game developed by P-Err, I mean, Rare, is coming to Battlenet? A Blizzard platform?

Thats not our problem. We don’t need to be informed of releases when we use this interface to access the software we paid for. Mailing lists exist for that same reason. I really regret buying call of duty on battle.net instead of steam where they at least have an interface that is consumer oriented
