Hi everyone, i’m here because i’m getting the same error as i had when i try to join the beta.
I tried everything:
-Install Diablo 2 Resurrected in Disk C and D.
-Reinstall Battle Net app deleting Battlet Net and Blizzard folders.
-Updated every driver to the last.
-I’m running a Graphic Card Nvidia 1080, updated.
-Running as Administrator.
Please help me, i don’t found any solution and i can’t run the game

Hi there, i got the same issue since 10 minutes!
I got the same problem, i re install the game and it dont work
I have the Same Issue since the beginning
Same issue here.
Have tried:
- Updating drivers
- Uninstalling / reinstalling Battle.net
- Scan and repair game
- Deleting everything in the game directory except for “data/data”, then scanning and repairing
- Running as Administrator
- And of course, restarting my PC
No idea what’s causing this.
Same issue here, submitted a suport ticket yesterday at launch, if they respond ill share whatever advice they send me
Same. The game won’t start in any way.
I solved my issue by disabling “Sonic Studio 3”, which is just an audio manager that I think was installed with some driver I previously used. Worth checking to see if you also have it running.
I was able to play the beta and now with the purchased version, I can’t even start the game. I have done evertyhing except start the game while naked.

I am having the same issue. Have also tried everything listed above.
same here, not sure what’s happening… Just bought the game and installed and can’t even play…awesome
Same here - open beta was launching with no problems but now full game gives me an error screen at launch
Same here
J’ai le même problème. J’ai également essayé tout ce qui est indiqué ci-dessus.
Same issue here too. I launch the game, it goes to a black screen with a silver bar at the top for 5 secs, then comes up with the unexpected error message.
Tried the usual fixes, run with administrator, windowed mode. Still the same.
My laptop is mid range, runs other games fine.
Interestingly, when I run Diablo 3 the logo appears first, then the game boots up fine.
Hopefully it gets patched soon.

The same crashes after launching.
Men, check your game status in the account options. If it is not “Active” and without a status at all, crashes may be connected with the account servers, not with your hard and soft.

So i wrote a ticket … and get the answer from Blizz. I have a laptop and the game dont work with my graphic card. So i cant play it on my laptop cuz they dont support integrated graphic cards…
so i only can return the game. you guys should open a ticket too.

Hi Bsodman,
I found there is no “Active” nor status with my purchased D2R.
May I have your advice how to make it active? I don’t find such a button…
It’s 100% the integrated graphics card (for me at least). I just disabled the device and launched the game and it worked. Only problem - without the graphics card my surface pro slows to a crawl and the game is unplayable.
Hoping they fix this at some point
Hey everyone,
Can you please make sure that your computer meets all the system requirements
Make also sure that your drivers and operating system are up to date to resolve any compatibility issues.
Close all other applications to resolve software conflicts and free up resources.
If the issue persist, run the repair tool to repair any damaged game files.
Hi, AnToN. There is no way to change the status oneself. It is Blizzard’s priority. Maybe it will change when they really resurrect the game.
