Hello,

Characters who disconnect from the game unexpectedly for any reason may temporarily become stuck online. The server should automatically remove any characters who become stuck within an hour. Please wait an hour and try logging in again.

If your character stays stuck for more than an hour keep in mind we have a script running once every ~24 hours to remove [locked] characters.

oooohhh so u have an script running… so we just have to wait 24h to play the game we paied for… well no problemo then… ridiculous

15+ hours and my character is still “already online”… so instead of posting ur stupid copy pasta every few days maybe u can do a manual unstuck instead of letting people wait 24h until ur stupid script does it… hello?

Created a new char after the downtime and couldn’t access the shared stash, Switched to my main character and was prompted with “Failed to enter game. This character is already in a game on the server. Please try again” Now I can’t play at all.

What’s going on Blizz?

Same issue for more than 9 hours.
I’am not sure that someone is working on this issue.
I wanted to open a ticket for technical support under the section Diablo II: Resurrected; i had a kind of form, leading to 3 answers: 1 related to connection issue with BattleNet application, 1 related to CoD performance, the last one related to WoW.

Plus, this message at the end : “did it solve your issue ?” —> OF COURSE NO !!!
If i open a ticket for D2R, how answer for another game could help me ? Seriously ?

Same issue here. 2 h with character stuck.
Same issue as release date and 3 day after release. Cannot log in alts aswell.

Not sure if your aware Blizzard but the below is kind of a manger issue i (and probably some others are) am having.

Failed to join game, character already logged in on server

Or

An issue occurred while communicating with the game server

This is all i get after playing for about an hour after the emergency maintenance that took place several hours ago.

I can not log into ANY character online. Please sort this crap out as its pathetic these sort of issues exist given the experience with online games you have.
