Same here (Germany). I need several restarts of the game to be able to connect to EU servers. NA and Asia are working fine.
I have the same issue, blizz going down anyway with there games, but now even the good games failed to work properly…cant connect to server or i have disconnects i have 4x80+lvls chars in HC its a wonder i dont died till yet.

Have the same problem (Germany). Sometimes when I switch to Asia or US server, join any game, quitting the game and restarting D2R with Bnet it helps to join EU server.
I can also confirm that i have problems with the login on the EU servers. US and ASIA work without any issues. I have the problem since 2-3 weeks.
Now it is no longer possible to log in at all, even with repeated relogging. I always get the message “failed to authenticate” or “cannot connect server”.
Unbelievable that Blizzard has simply ignored the problem for days respectively no capable network engineers who can fix the problem.
Since the servers were never offline for “maintenance work” i assume that they don’t try it at all.
Only US / Asia server with high ping remains.

Hello mighty Blizzard. Me and all my friends in Europe are having problem with connecting to European servers to play D2R. It is happening only on EU servers, US and Asia works normally. This happens every day and I have to constantly turning game off and on to be able to connect and go through “Failed to authenticate. Please try again.”
Please fix this issue, people are complaining about this for a very long time and not it’s not our internet connection it is YOU and YOUR servers. I’ve heard (not sure if it’s true) that only European servers are merged with Diablo 4 and therefore it’s overloaded by players and we having this issue. Apparently US and Asia are having separate servers as we all should have and deserve for D2R and D4.
I would like if people actually react to this topic if they having same issue or not, because I contacted Blizzard and I was told to do this so they “know”. So there you go people, COMMENT please.

Belgium same here.
As there were recently so many dismissals in so many software houses, I will be not surprised if Blizzard has cut the costs in maintenance, leaving only one person left to monitor the EU servers and who is currently for a week or so on holiday or sick, with no decent back-up to speak off to solve current issue . . .

Yeah, cannot connect. Reported this way earlier and response was blunt, you have poor network connection (I do not). They did not even want to investigate the server-side of this issue back then. I guess now something has gone seriously wrong and finally they do something 
Lost my HC character because of issues with Battle.net server, failed to authenticate and now and then lost connections.
