does someone have new information
The problem is still ongoing, my game crashed yesterday, and the character went missing. Yet I see these posts are as old as 5 days, and no news since then.
How or where can I request a refund?
Ok, I found a blue post, where refunds can be requested.
I was told I canât request a refund, because I played for too much.
Thatâs right, âtoo much timeâ was spent on this, which is now all missing.
They better approve the appealâŠ

So finally got a response on my ticket, including advice like:
âSome folks have reported the character(s) have returned after being on the wrong Offline/ Online tab or for some playing offline on different PCs, characters are stored locally and needed to be exported to any other device to play the character on after each play session.â
Obviously, this does not help or solve the issue.
When I logged out on Tuesday evening, everything was fine and when I logged back in on Wednesday my 84 Sorc was gone, including all gear on char and personal stash.
It is your responsibility to provide servers that allow for stable online play, and it is your responsibility to ensure regular back-ups are available to avoid roll-backs or complete loss of characters.

Der Kundendienst kann Charaktere in Diablo 2 Resurrected weder einsehen noch wiederherstellen, genau wie das beim alten Diablo 2 auch der Fall war, wie die Entwickler in der FAQ Charakterwiederherstellung in Diablo II: Resurrected - Blizzard-Kundendienst dazu auch schrieben, auch wenn ich hier sehr gern ausgeholfen hÀtte, Michael.
Ich habe hier fĂŒr dich in unserer Datenbank mit bekannten Fehlern fĂŒr dich nachgesehen und konnte da keine bekannten Fehler finden, daĂ Charaktere von allein verschwinden. Du kannst das aber gern ĂŒber das Forum Bug Report - Diablo 2 Resurrected Forums melden, damit die Entwickler das genauer untersuchen können. Wenn die Entwickler da einen Fehler feststellen, dann reparieren sie ihn schnellstmöglich.
Wir vom Kundendienst haben nicht die Möglichkeiten, mögliche Fehler zu untersuchen oder das Spiel zu verĂ€ndern. Nur die Entwickler selbst können sowas detailliert untersuchen und dann auch etwas im Spiel Ă€ndern. Ich hoffe, dass ich dir den Fall einigermaĂen nachvollziehbar erklĂ€ren konnte und bedanke mich fĂŒr dein VerstĂ€ndnis.
They offer the link to request refunds, but then they straight up deny the request.
The reason: âthere is too much time spent on the gameâ.
I would understand this, under normal circumstances, but in this actual case, all the time spent and progress is LOST, and the fault is 100% on Blizzardâs side.
Iâm going to open a PayPal ticket now, and hope they got better senses.
After spending hundreds of Euros with you Blizzard, I would have expected at least some more professionalism, if not a functional game I paid for.
Exactly. I donât think people expected to have their days of progressed erased and should be entitled for a refund.
