Not a fan of many words but just in comparison: LoD stash: 480 slots, Classic stash: 32 slots - THIRTY TWO SLOTS. What made u think that classic players do not need a bigger stash?
Again: The LoD stash is 15 times bigger. WTF?!?!?!?
Come on blizz give us a bigger stash.
ps: almost forgot… ofc the classis stash is not shared for all chars. yeah. sure.
Firstly, classic stash 4 * 6 = 24 slots, LoD 10 * 10 * 4 = 400 slots.
Secondly, nothing prevents you from playing LOD, there is no problem.
In fact, the classic version is not needed in the game, it is very limited, small stash is not the only problem, only a few will play it, it was left as a tribute to the canon.
Not gonna argue with you why classic is WAY better. but the argument “nothing prevents u from playing lod” is just plain dumb.

What a stupid topic more like. I don’t understand your argument. If you are on about D2 and not D2R then understandable. However, if you are on about D2R, they already did expand it and that means you are like most complainers about stash space, meaning it’s a everlasting argument that there will never be enough stash space for hoarders.
Kinda sounds like you completely misunderstand the topic.
Classic (NOT EXPANSION) D2R has not received any increase in size to stash nor did it get shared stash.
Meaning we have extremely limited stash space compared to LoD. It’s incomparable and shouldn’t have been done this way.
Fair enough then. I just get a bit annoyed when people hoard too many items for 1 class that they’ll never use for that class. And then complain that there’s not enough space.
As a long time Classic player, I am beyond disappointed by this.
We used to use mules by loading up multiple characters in the same game in order to transfer items, however that’s not possible anymore due to a more strictly enforced 1 connection-per-player system. This would be completely fine if we had shared tabs like expansion players do and I cannot fathom why we are not allowed them like the rest of the player base.
The technology IS there. This is pure nonsense. The only reason I can imagine would be for the sake of nostalgia and keeping it exactly as it was, however trust me, literally no one is nostalgic enough to appreciate this lack of quality-of-life features that everyone else is currently enjoying.
Please at least enable shared tabs on Classic, and the increased stash space would be nicer too. With the cube in there it’s absolutely ridiculous.
Ya i think the stash size should be increased a bit too… but i dont mind it forcing a specific play style of conservatism or making mules either. They need to focus on the lobby GUI as its the 1 thing that has not been upgraded… At least add filters to search cow games, filter by level, quest etc… this would make diablo 2 ALOT fun if people could find the games we are looking for. Also adding a something that tells us how long the game has been in session for…
I have to vouch for this.
I’ve been a classic player for 16years now.
We are used to small stashes I understand.
But if you improve a stash in LOD u must improve the Classic stash aswell.
I dont think this is much to ask.

Simply stop Reading threads about Classic Diablo and go play LoD. It’s Best solution for you for sure.

And simply don’t judge too fast. We all know that in LoD is everything that we talking about here but that’s the point. There is an option to play the Classic version of Diablo II and if they implement something to LoD also should do that to the Classic version.

Think blizzard could make stash in d2r much bigger. I have no idea why making 15 1lvl for item storage is still necessary in 2021.
It wouldn’t affect the gameplay. Yes, original expirience, i know. But item storage was the most annoying thing in d2 lod and no one would mind the expanded stash.
Imo if plugy can make an infinite stash and the game ran smoothly, why can’t blizzard add a few more tabs at very least. I know my comment sounds contradicting to my last but there is no way they can dismiss it without a solid reason.

I considered it as a general improvements, as you talked about shared stash. And then you leave the small Classic community without any changes? Thats really low!

Hello Hello people. Don’t sleep, you have to write something to put this thread as high as possible.
It’s really disappointing to see People in Expansion having this big stash, while Classic players still need to mule in pub games and even create muling characters.
I’ll promote this topic, so people write more opinions about it!
