Easier Item sharing between characters

It’ s just an idea. Maybe Blizzard can do something with it. I am wondering if blizzard could implement the following way of item sharing. If you are playing with your necromancer and find an excellent item for your mage character for example that you could click on this item and an option is displayed to share it with one of your other characters. That you immediately can send it, and that this item is removed from your inventory and will be placed in a new temporary stash tab when you start a game with the character you send this item to. This temporary stash is removed once you move the shared item to a common stash tab. This temporary stash tab would online contain shared items no other items can be dropped in it. This way the player can keep playing with his necro and do not lose inventory stash space on good items for other classes.

You don’t get my point.

I know that you currently can share items with the shared stash. But to remove items from the shared stash if this is full you have to quit your current game. Open a game of another character and move items from shared stash to the non shared tab. Quit this game. Restart the original game. With the solution i described you can keep playing your original game.

I doubt that. You just want even easier item sharing because reasons.

Stop hoarding everything.

You don’t need to hoard items to have full inventory slots.
Also 20 characters slots are not enough if you play long enough.
I want to see you leave a harle or a mid/high rune on the ground because your inventory is already full.

There are already much better solutions to that problem.
→ Currency tab
→ More shared stash

What’s that?

easy to ditch something wortless to make room for one of these.

Harle → Unique Shaco

At some point you only have expensive/rare loot left

In a loot-based game?? This is the strangest comment I’ve ever read.

Right. That thing is commonly called “Shako”

All expensive stuff should be in use or it’s not worth it and needs to be vendored.

yes. if something stays in your stash too long it should be dropped in some “free stuff” game

I agree with Xentis i don’t hoard that much. 2 of my stash tabs are filled already with gems and runes, Keys and items to do respecs . A currency tab would also be a nice solution but this is also not offered by blizzard.

You are playing Trade Softcore. Do i need to add more here?
In hardcore you usually keep your old gear in case you die.
So you already need 2 inventory’s for each character.
Playing solo selffound requires even more.

That’s what I do and I’m vendoring non eth duriel’s shells.
Stop hoarding rubbish. You’ve managed to get to hell before, you’ll manage again without hoarding everything.
Make a mule.

eth duriel’s shells is rubbish so yeah i would vendor that too.
You are talking nonsense. Have you ever crafted? Have you ever farmed keys?
Have you ever played HC?
People play the game differently. Your way is far from superior. MrLama for example also complained about the Character Cap. And guess what people will complain even more when season launch.

it’s a great merc body

nah

yes

It’s fine. I’m having fun.

don’t care

Sadly, I know. People always do.

Then why are you even here when you don’t want to argue?

Treachery is much better and cheap

I’m arguing right now.

both are good options

so which one do you keep?
You have to decide.

You are the one trying to dictate how the game should be played by telling people to not “hoard”.

The original game never had issues with capped loot. It is new with D2R. People are just asking to either make it more convenient than it was or make it as it was.
And obviously you didn’t play enough to even understand the problem. Having every available character with a single spec already exceeds the available limit by a mile. And we are not even talking about different kind of gamemodes ( Softcore / Hardcore / Ladder / Non-Ladder )

If my mercs are geared up? neither.

I’m not

i’m telling they should get rid of useless crap.

LOL

Only thin air. No arguments thanks for your time. Your input was really helpful

Just learn to manage your inventory. Stop hoarding crap
