General RUNE drop Nerf

Hi all,

i know it sounds crazy.
But by god, i swear i have successfully overcome my objective feeling and expectations and this topic is real.

I am doing Cow Runs, Online, but Singleplayer. For weeks now.
In the beginning it dropped everything from EL to PUL, occasionally something better of course but very rare, as you would expect. After ~300 runs my first BER.
Suddenly almost all drops became DOL or HEL or lower.
Few days later almost exclusively SOL or lower, i was farming Chipped Saphire like crazy just to cube them all.
Few days later suddenly the main rune became AMN, VERY rarely sometimes a SHAEL or DOL, but nothing more.
Now for 3 days it is only ORT, TAL, THUL and very rarely AMN or SHAEL, but nothing more.

Buddy mentioned “rumour” that Cow Level might get nerfed after some time so i changed to CS, AT and all other Lvl85 areas. Nothing changed. Just now i finished 2 runs CS with 3x TAL, 2x THUL, 1x AMN drops.

I have spent the last 3 days farming many hours a day.
Best rune i found was SOL, rest was exclusively ORT TAL and THUL or below.

I know you can have good luck and bad luck.

But the noticeable “decrease in Rune quality”, pushing me slowly down in quality a few days at a time is veeery noticeable to me and convinces me i am not crazy.

What do you guys think? Am i crazy?

its only bad luck. if you do seal popping cs runs, you see that you mostly dont get any rune from a run. you need to farm harder and more.

not another stupid post about this. some people play years and never see a Ber and you actually got one thats decent luck!
yes your crazy and you obviously dont understand rng.

I got a Sur rune from cow level 2 days ago, meaning you must be wrong.

Exactly the same I have also noticed. in the cow runs drop for days only el, eld runes max tal rune. There has definitely changed something. I think blizzard adapts the drops to all the bots and diablo 2 items webpages. And the legitimate player is the victim

the drops are bugged, sometimes can go 30 cow runs with no even a rune drop, then 2-3 cow runs with 5-6 Tal/Ort/Amn drop/run.

Or they work out changes so the legitimate player get seduced into shop bait and sponsoring battle net their shops.

I get sol, shael, dol, hel every day. Last week a random dropped jah, 2 days later cham in countess room from random. Today i tested gear on char that i havent played for long: um from mephisto, Lo from random on the halls to ancients. Kill a lot, get a lot.

Doch es funktioniert, wenn du mal ne Minute lang nachdenken würdest …

Spiele viel und du farmst mit der Zeit auch entsprechend viel.

Funfact: Wenn du gar nicht spielst, bekommst du auch gar nichts … ich weiß schockierend, aber leider muss man es für dich ja extra nochmal hier hin schreiben, dass du´s auch ja nicht vergisst … :man_facepalming:

Das simpelste Prinzip im Spiel, dass es überhaupt gibt und trotzdem fällt bei dir der Groschen seit Monaten nur pfennigweise, bzw. überhaupt nicht … :man_shrugging:

I did only list runes. I got last 10 days 2 shakos, andariel face, tal armor, highlords and last but not least 1 soj 2 weeks before. And loads of other nice items.

You can run 2 months and find nothing and than you can get 2 bers in 3 days like me :smiley:

i do note a crazy amount of sol runes
I basically only find sol runes and quite a lot of dol runes.
No el, eld, eth, ith runes. Not many ral runes either

I know the odds of high runes are low and that is fine, i found a jah and ohm already, but the about of sol runes dropping is a little bit weird, they don’t have the highest drop chance of the trash runes, so statistically speaking I should see a lot more runes below sol

Start craft Bloodrings then u won’t find so much sols anymore.

If you have a problem with el, eld, eth, ith , sol runes, you can visit countess. She has a lot of these :stuck_out_tongue:
I am not collecting them anymore
