I confirm sol drop as it is like amn. BUT hey, both are most important for blood recipe crafting
I actually agree with you. Rune drop rate is kinda weird. I farm CS and Councils for month and get nothing. But in first month of playing I got some good runes like 2xOhm, 2xVex and Lo. But now this is really frustrated when you spend 5 hour per day and get a few 7% mf SC at the end of week. I think one more week like that and I will quit this game.
Nothing but RNG. Last weekend I actually thought they must have increased the rate as I had a crazy streak imo
Friday ZOD from Pindle
Saturday BER from Eldritch
Sunday Lo and Sur from cows
All within about 8 hours of gameplay. Nothing but 1 IST since but thats the way it works !
Do you play solo, crush games or group?
nothing but buggy loot. even by design, still buggy, If rnd in D2R is like 1 month find nothing then in 2 days Ber+LO+SUR+JAH, this is actually a very BUGGY LOOT DESIGN, and this shall be changed asap. why? because regular players, casual players will not have patience to farm 1 month and find nothing and in the hope that at a moment they find something, they will just QUIT the game. Ok, understood, most of dinosaurs like you want that everybody to quit the game(for some reasons I can not understandā¦).
regular players, casual players, donāt need any of the high level stuff and are happy when something nice drop. The crying only comes from people that play way to much but only interrested in the result.
And when luck isnāt in there favor (this will happen) they notice they are doing something they donāt really like. This people will quit anyway a some point no need to for change. Its nice even after all these years to (self) find items / runes you never have bevor.
But its all twisted anyway people expect rare drops to be the norm instead of being happy when they are lucky.
what? of course they need. maybe not Enigma, Infinity and stuff like this, but when they can not find even UM to VEX runes then is get frustrating and they will quit the game.
My first ever high rune was in D2R, and I have been playing since Diablo 2 originally came out(meaning I also played when Lord of Destruction came out originally).
You need to stop complaining
You all not understand something: I am not complaining. I have no reasons to complain, I have all the stuff I need, maybe Enigma would be nice to have it but I already understood that I will probably never have it.
You do not get my point, because you are the perosons that jump to conclusion extremely easy. The idea is that as D2R is now, without any changes/improvemnts in 2 months is dead! do you want to this? do you want to play a game which you like with 1000 players playerbase?
You are not the OP, so you are not who I am addressing.
Ok, but OP point is more or less the same. Not sure he āis complainingā. but just adress something strange to the loot he observed.
You donāt get to respond on behalf of someone else
Actually this is a very sensible comment. No other ARPG would make players potentially go a month with no significant drops and expect them to stay on as players. Shrug.
Last Epoch gets it right. The crafting system in that game is so good that a huge proportion of all items that drop can be significant either as a crafting base or for farming rare crafting ingredients. Itās wonderful.
It is kind a strange dropā¦i didnt find anything whole 6 weeksā¦only some mals and than i have found 2 Bers and vex during 3 days. Funny
My GF is looking for work. She could not find anything for 3 months, but then got 2 interviews and an offer in 1 week.
I think the RNG is completely broken.
yes, loot bugged by design. I repeat the dice example(so dinosaurs will go crazy!):
if you roll a dice 1 month 100times/day and get only numbers 1-3 and then after 1 month next day you get only 4-6 numbers, then something is bad with that dice - same as D2R loot.
But if letās say 100k people roll the diceā¦some of them will be in the situation you describe. This is not what you are taking in account in your reasoning. Something improbable is not the same with something impossible. You only look at your situation, and canāt accept that this is not an arpg game that rewards players for just being persistent and playing the game. You need to be lucky. Farm fast and a lot. For the millionth timeā¦I agree that this is frustrating for some that invest lots of hours and get nothing. I understand that this is not a recipe for keeping people to play your game, but it was enough when the game came out. Thatās why modern arpgs donāt have such a primitive and āunfairā system. But please understand this is no more than gambling your time for shinny items. Some gamble little time and they are luckyā¦others invest lots of time and effort and get nada. I get it that itās frustrating when you grind for hours and nothing significant drops in D2, while modern arpgs will reward your persistence. D2 might reward itā¦but it might not. Embrace the uncertainty, leave the ego and entitlement on the side and enjoy the game and hope that your luck will chance. No guarantee that it will, though. Or just search for another game that will reward your persistence with drops just because you play a certain no of hours.
In other words, some people really hate ātrue randomā and rather want āperceived randomā in games (aka game adjusting odds of the next roll based on previous rolls).
no, true random is āsmoothā, convergent to middle of the range(roll a dice 500 times, medium of rolls will be between 3 and 4) and dispersed accross the range(dice roll whole 1-6 numbers range), But D2R random is spiky, non-convergent and non-dispersed - this is what I hate.
Actually that sounds like it is. Companies are desperate for workers right now. I have 2 positions to fill in my IT team and I cannot even get applicants never mind get them to 2nd interview. Companies should be knocking your GFs door down over the past few months begging her to come work for them. It might be RNG but there is a pattern at work.
