Give the players the Players X Command in BattleNet

There are many arguments in favor of this. At the moment, public games are simply used for farming. For players who want to play normally, this is only annoying because after a certain point, the quests can no longer be completed.

Another argument is that players are no longer forced to multibox.

In addition, this would include even more difficulty levels that are rewarded with better loot.

And to say “then play singleplayer” is out of place, by the way. You still want to be able to play with your character together with others.

In my opinion, this would further increase the quality of the game, as more options are available.

Although I shouldn’t do this:

definitly signed!

Yeah this 100% needs to happen… drop rates are affected at player 3, 5 and 7 the rest are just experience boosts…

I would be nice if my brother and I could put the game on at least players 3 with only two of us in the game so we can increase the rates.

As an old school D2 player I think that it could be nice. But the problem is that, is SP, it doesn’t really matter if you “loot more” because of the /player x command. But it does matter in Bnet as it affects the market. So I don’t know. It will probably never happen.

Players are using discord and twitter to plan events around Dclone spawning… not to mention botters and item farming websites are using this information to also manipulate the market…

I don’t get why people who enjoy playing online games alone or in smaller groups need to suffer…

The market is going to be destroyed in 3 months any way, wait until a year when it becomes so saturated HR’s will be able to be purchased for 5 bucks…
Why wait for the player base to give up? Strike while the iron’s hot and allow people to enjoy the game now… the more time passes the more dead the game will become and items will become worthless unless you’re playing on ladder.

/player command will do absolutely nothing to the economy that elitist groups aren’t already doing now…

Player command will have a massive effect on the economy. The elititist groups are a very small group of players, with the player command, the rest of the 99% will farm with player 2-8 massively increasing the amount of loot available, thus devaluing pretty much every single piece of loot with the exception of the ultra rare blue and yellow items with random stats.

How you can think that it wont effect the economy is beyond me when you want a command for increasing the amount of loot that drop :exploding_head:

i dont get why people want this change , you might aswell do personal loot. people will play together instead of just solo games. would even solve server issues asless games will be made. theres like hardly any difference of the 2.

people just have a issue with personal loot even tho it would promote people playing together

I don’t really see the point of xPlayer Command in Bnet as if you wanted extra loot it works in offline, the only reason you would want it in Bnet is if you wanted to play the game less.
Fighting your way to Baal then slapping on xPlayer before you kill him is kind of cheating, that’s why it is in offline mode where you can play for more fun.

Полностью поддерживаю насчет того чтобы вернули команду players x и пусть вернут LAN потому что я хочу с другом играть а не сидеть в очереди и ждать…

I’d love this, you have streamers inviting 7 people to afk in their games while we have to scour public games to join and be a nuisance if we want any chance of decent loot. If we could set player difficulty it’d be a nice improvement.

I have a friend I play with, but we avoid playing together because 2 players is just making the game harder without any additional loot. Just give us the command.

I think this will solve alot of problems do this!!!

Agreed. I don’t play grouped with friends because we don’t want to split the loot.

Tell me the difference:

  1. I play solo and use /players 8
  2. I join any baalrun, where 3/8 people are farming baal (they can die and lose exp), all other are somewhere else. In this case I still get items as with /players 8

So just let the top 1% rule over the peasants? Just like in real life?.. you’re part of the problem…

I’m very curious what you all will do when they implement that command and you will find all the best loot? What then you will want to implement to kill that game more and more!
I really want to hear you all when you kill this game and go to the next one and leave that crap to the rest of us. Really really want to hear and see that.

You don’t play with your friend because it’s too hard with two of you but you want /player x to increase the difficulty of your play to an even higher number to be more difficult… Are you thinking dude what you are writing?

English dude English!!!

Very good friends, where to find them?

For this is a single player. Point game where you can boost your exp and drop rate by the command in another game in multiplayer mode??

If that 3-8 players will die on Hell on Baal then something is wrong with them. It’s hard to imagine that 3-8 player dying at Baal… really it’s hard to imagine. Really…

Best,

I am against this and i will tell you the reason.
/playerx command was created to help single player games to increase the drop chance since there is no other way to do so. Also in single player games you cannot trade therefore you have to find everything for yourself.
The purpose of the command was not to provide battlenet players with increased chance of drop since you can make groups to achieve that and also you can trade and acquire the item you want.

I totally agree. Would love to see this being an option.

Do you have more specific arguments?

Let’s set 0.0000001% for all items in the game. And the game will live 50 years, perfect!

I meant I play solo in multiplayer.

I meant 3 players against baal which is configured for 8 players. 5 players farming Chaos, Keys, etc…
Not everybody has enigma after reaching 65 lvl
