I play hc hell and as caster I cant be close to enemies. Its not like in softcore where you can die 1000 times for loot.
Shit mechanics discourages people grouping together.
Edit: Put default FFA but give OPTION to create game with personal loot. This way everyone is happy.
It doesnt even have to be permament allocation. Example you could have 5 second timer for personal loot before it turns to free for all. Make it just like in PoE short allocation. I would be totally fine with that.
And it is funny how all melee players crying about it because they will lose their extra profit. Maybe stop being selfish for once?
Why should we have to deal with such constraints just because of an archaic loot system? Better it’s brought up to date and then encourages all runs be inclusive for all players.
The fact this this is a co-op game strongly suggests that.
Cause you have to touch the coregame, whole new lootsystem. No thanks. Play yourself with gamepad, do solo mf runs, use gamepad-emulator to loot fast with m+kb. Enough options there.
Then do MF runs, as EVERYBODY does since release. MF Runs are a core element of D2 ffs dont whine about some items MAYBe could drop while you do baal runs for xp, srsly
So, I have 500 mf, killed a monster, the monster dropped a perfect griffon, and I’m not allowed to pick it up? Is that you mean “fairly distributed”?
So it went to another player with you who has X mf. Sure it’s fair. Why would it not be? Is it any fairer if that other player had beaten you to it and picked it up himself? There is no “I am not allowed to pick it up”, you would not see it drop.
Don’t bother, they will never understand, they have the attention span of a paperclip. The good news is that most of the tourists that advocate for ploot charm inv and all that nonsense are already gone, give it a month and the ploot discutions will stop.
You do not understand how personal loot works. The game rolls separately for each player, as if player was in a single player game. You are not missing out on any loot.
Its not fair. Espacially not in hardcore. Sum1 who have 500+ mf have so much more risk while playing in comparison to someone who go full on vita/def/dmg. So why should i play with 500mf and the risk of dying, when the otherone will get my item?
