The bigger stash and shared stash is really nice, but the same small inventory as it was from the start of classic D2 is just a pain in the arse.
I mean thats a loot grinding game, how can i be that you need to go to town everytime you find an item
Its simply outdated, actually it was with the launch of LOD and the introduction of charms.
Double the size, and the original size for charms to be active.

I have been playing online but solo. I have been stashing what I believe to be good/useful gear so I can start new characters and pass them gear as they are also levelling up.
My stash is full, all 4 tabs , and I have made mules to be able to use “extra” tabs, lots of mules.
And personal bag space is also very limiting.
I think it would be a great QoL update to increase the stash tabs’ size and number, and increase inventory space as well.

I think those QoL would go too far. It’s about being toughtfull about what you keep and what you sell. That’s for many people a big part of what makes this game fun.
I think its too small to.
About 2 x 10 more inventory slots would be OK so the 4slot items would fit with an additional 2 slots below them.
The problems are the charms. We can assume that 2x10 more inventory changes the balance of them.
i would say: who cares. Who has a problem with that should not use it but its not that easy.
So the compromise could be: add a smaller “charm” inventory or “charm area” to the inventory where charms are active and thats it. not so much change.
But i think thats more something for a 2nd expansion…
If people think this is some ““fun”” to have a cluttered inventory i would say: give characters and option for more inventory. so people who dont like have stick with it. Downside for bigger inventory people could be a reduced charm space.
Character “resurrected mode” / “classic mode”.
We are in 2021,simply set a limit of charm can be used.i agree with the small stash, its just stressfull to mule all the stuff, and all use unlimited stash in the past.
I don’t pick up 70% of the stuff i find. after a while, once you’ve got a good supply of gold, stop picking up anything basic. It isn’t worth it. the town portal scroll cost more than what you’ll get in return.

i can see in the future adding to more shared tabs/char slots, but making bigger inv space or/and charm inv is a big nono from me, also stack runes/gems only in stash and never in inv. Inv management is a big part in playing this game, that is why d2 is considered a hard game and not just cruising through doing a bazilion dps and exploding everything

Almost 95% of the stuff is garbage. Use the inventory wisely

Blizz at least make potions as stash of 10 so that we can save some space in the personal inventory!

we really need more chest space.
Server loading is a fake excuse because we all makes other chars as mule for banking stuff.
It’s just tedious and boring.
And for thoose who are saying it’s an important legacy feature and D2 should be untouched, you should just play D2 lod and not D2R if you want the true legacy experience.

its not that i “pick up all the stuff” i play this game since 15 years i know what to pick up but its not enough for that. if you use charms you cant even pick up 1 boss drop.
Thats part of the game… you can chose if you have more room to grab items in puplic games or use more charms for better stats. More risk, more reward.
But there can be more stash slots… like 10. 2 Slots are already full of gems and runes… So i still have to make mule-chars. I think 6 to 10 slots in stash would be great. Inventory should stay as it is.

The personal stash is fine for me - but i need more shared stash as in d2 i could easy create another account so i have backup for my hc chars and this is not possible now.
Concerning charms I’d like to see a charm inventory. Something like 5x5 and charms you carry only work when they are in said inventory.
For the stash problem I’d like to advice to not hoard everything that looks shiny
And why do you use those charms? Are two more skillers really worth the hassle? 'cause that’s the point.
People who beg for a seperate charms inventory want maximum power AND maximum comfort, but the intended design is to CHOOSE between them.
These things are why the game is better than modern games. There are choices to be made and the rage about such things confirms that it IS a relevant choice.

I would really appreciate a charm inventory but i doubt this is coming in the current version of the game. i assume a 2nd expansion with said changes is required. so people who dont like it can keep on the old style or something like that.
With resurrected we got more stash than in D2 without mods, so if they would give us a bigger inventory, what would happen? We would use it to carry more charmes and still would have no space.
With an extra charmes inventory, what would be best idea, the inventory could be used as - inventory. But it should also mean charmes could only carried in their inventory and no more other charmes in normal inventory is allowed.
Next people would ask, we want a crafting inventory, so all runes, gems, skulls could go there, this would make D2 already more d3 like, what is a big non-go.
I would really like to have infinite space to collect each item in the game one time without jumping from mule to mule character.
The best idea GGG had in my opinion was to give a stash specially only for uniques to collect each for one time, this would be good to have. But this is D2 and not D3 or PoE, so I guess, we should be glad about what we already got.

Is it intended though? I do like these excuses to just stick with a tedious system instead of looking for good QoL improvements to a great classic.
Don’t instantly start accusing people they want X or Y because (insert own projection here) and try to add some good suggestions for improvement while we have the chance.
The stash is too small too !
