It’s the core progression mechanic. They said they don’t like the game. It’s like saying you don’t like the classes. Go play D3 where ploot is the core progression mechanic. Of course, you can also just make private games on D2 where ploot is then part of the core mechanic.
I Fully agrree with personal loot.
personal loot with an opt-in is fair and accurate for all players. gamepad players are way slower than other players.
Every player should have its own random drops and nothing should be doubled.
FFA is just unfair, some players pick items even before they are showed as text! And lags and so on.
come on guys! accept changes as improvements!
en vez de botin personal mejor hagan clanes para que puedan ayudarse y asi te evitas de intervenciones el ffa es para los competidores extremos y pkrs y no estoy de acuerdo del ploot personal
Actually D2R is the new game on the block with a new makeover hoping to attract new players. The onus is on IT to adapt, to the modern day mechanics that those new players will 100% expect if they are to jump onboard. Individual loot is one of them.
Last Epoch is a fantastic ARPG and about to get multiplayer. When that happens this game will be deader than dead if it is still pushing 20-year-old unfriendly mechanics like public loot.
Except scumbag loot ninjas, don’t forget that. It’s unfair for them. They do not like the idea of private loot because they know their ninja days are over. Pretty much the only reason to object to an option is because you are one.
Put this into the game and when activated gives a mf penality of -400mf ez as it is. Also a penality of player count -1-7 players, depending how many are in-game
Short allocation is better solution instead of Personal loot.
PoE taught me, that Ploot is terrible. They dont need it and you can’t pick it till they left the map and that staggered the flow run.
Short allocation is just random personal loot for a few seconds before go FFA in order to prevent autopickup. Had talked about in US.Forum, it seems some purists like the idea.
Not having personal drops even make discussion within friends when play in party. WHo will take a good drop? e.g. a Pul rune dropped, who take it? Even avoid to play in party because of this crazy loot system.
Haha, nobody said 8x the drops, we just want 1/8 the spoils, even if that means nothing or some gold. Just another poorly thought out reason against p loot
As I expressed in a similar thread:
Not against OPTION for personal loot if it is implemented in such a way that the net # of items in the game economy is the same as in the general loot. IE, general loot == personal loot item count-wise.
