I started a HG in SP to see everything and I think it’s been the best decision now. No problems, no crashes, only fun and chill.
I understand all the only-MP players as we don’t have TCP/IP anymore, and the current state of multi must be frustating.
this system is really f*ed up! being in a Q of 240 people…and the Q is not even moving.
totally ridiculous!
in que for about 20mins, was 246, now 89. ridiculous. you would blizzard would have gotten their crap rounded up after years of doing this stuff.
Seriously, this is such a disgrace. A double-AA price tag game, from a triple-AAA company that can’t get this fixed. It’s not like they made on of the biggest MMORPG’s of all time - oh wait, they did just that! And to top if of, they can call colleagues and ask for help at any given time.
The major player base can’t play during the day on weekdays. I just got in, game crashed in que, and now I’ve been 315th in que for over 20 min.
I understand that you are facing difficulties trying to adapt this game to a modern platform bla bla etc. But this seriously is a f*cking joke…
Yeah this company has turned to basically trash. Was reluctant to buy this game from them but it was my favorite game growing up. This will be my last purchase ever from Blizzard.
I’m not gonna weigh in on this because it’s utterly stupid. Pretty sure they knew there would be issues and sold the game anyways to get the moneyball rolling. All of their responses say they are being transparent but all I smell is BS.
I love it how it’s become acceptable to constantly push out unfinished games that have all sorts of issues.
Add TCP/IP back to the game and problem mostly solved.
Remington are only way , it can solve everything.
So I haven’t had a bad experience with the queue until today. Normally it’s max 150ish players and takes maybe 30 min to get through with the number regularly dropping. Getting booted and going threw queue again happened once but that was because I was running pindle exclusively and the server booted me after about 20 runs. I stopped doing that and went to longer area 85 farming runs and haven’t experienced a crash since.
Now today I try to log in and I’m stuck at what appears to be a magic number of 356. The number never changed after 30 min and when I left queue and went back in I was at 413. I closed out bnet and restarted and joined queue and it was at 256. Then I restarted computer and I was back at 413.
In short. I don’t think the number means ANYTHING. It’s just something they are showing us. I think they might be punishing players who play a lot. I had my only day off yesterday. I work in a few hours today and was hoping to get some runs in. Sorry for enjoying your game so much blizzard!
I and a friend are at the same location playing. Last night when logging into Bnet, I logged in first yet I was a larger number in queue than my friend. When his number would drop, mine would not.
After he was in a game and created a lobby my number finally began to fall and I was able to join last night.
This morning started at 389 in queue. Been about 40 min and only at 267.
Just give us TCP/IP and allow us to port an online character to offline PLEASE #technical-support
sitting in queue # 349. This is not a solution blizzard. We paid alot of money for this damn game and now your making us wait to play this Bullshit for hours in queue. This is not a solution, this is terrible. We paid for the game and should be able to play/login within 10 minutes… not 1 hour wait for fuck sakes.
Give me the ability to port BNet to single player, this is such a waste of my time I have few words. 30 minutes in queue to go from 270 to 203, I only had a few hours to game this morning, and it looks like I’ll be spending them elsewhere as it seems unlikely I’ll be able to access my characters in that timeframe.
The delivery of a shaky product is reprehensible, and your Battlenet failures are inexcusable. I’ve been around since BNet 1.0, and the lack of foresight gained from your past launch issues is professionally disrespectful and irresponsible. If solutions are forthcoming, wonderful, but until such a time - as you are clearly working with severely limited manpower and resources - please provide real ameliorating solutions for the playerbase who continues to pay for what people created decades ago to provide your current employees with income.
Never saw worse since start of ms dos 1991
Hahahaha, it’s a joke. Position 187
Maybe it’s Blizzard genius, it’s like ZX Spectrum loading times, a tribute to Sir Clive Sinclair
Worst shit ever put in a video game. It;s worse than bugs because this crap was put in ON PURPOSE.
“Blizzard files for bankruptcy” I can`t wait to read this
All of you that chose to implement this, deserve to be sent cleaning the heatsinks down on level 50 with half-ration for the next 358 years, just like my queue
Why invest in higher capacity servers when once the hype around the game falls and the player base along with it that server is no longer needed. They already got 99% of the money anyway from sales. Blizzard knows exactly what they’re doing, this is not their first rodeo.
There were no queues in old D2, not ever…
Ищу человека из очереди под номером 158, хочу отлучиться пусть не забывает про меня
It is 23:25 where I live (Central Europe) and I have a queue. Explain? Not even WoW addons/ Classic on release had a queue during this time
Complaining is no good - because you will just close the threads? Did I just read that right?
Well, no surprise I guess, it’s what your Chinese friends are doing too after all.
