Upgrading set items

I’m unable to upgrade helm, boots, gloves and belt from my immortal king set. Anyone knows what might be the issue?

You need to first find out what type of item the set is
Normal, exceptional or elite, then use the formula below to upgrade.
Parts of the set are normal

Bringing sets with large level ranges into parity. For example, the popular Immortal King set has a huge level range of pieces, from minimum level of 29 to maximum level of 76. Being able to upgrade those lower-level items to bring their Defense into line with the other items may make this set more attractive.

Upgrade Normal Set Weapon to Exceptional
Same iLvl & properties
Runes, jewels & gems retained 1x Normal Set Weapon+ 1 Ral Rune+ 1 Sol Rune+ 1x Perfect Emerald

Upgrade Exceptional Set Weapon to Elite
Same iLvl & properties
Runes, jewels & gems retained 1x Exceptional Set Weapon+ 1 Lum Rune+ 1 Pul Rune+ 1x Perfect Emerald

Upgrade Normal Set Armor to Exceptional
Same iLvl & properties
Runes, jewels & gems retained 1x Normal Set Armor+ 1 Tal Rune+ 1 Shael Rune+ 1x Perfect Diamond

Upgrade Exceptional Set Armor to Elite
Same iLvl & properties
Runes, jewels & gems retained 1x Exceptional Set Armor+ 1 Ko Rune+ 1 Lem Rune+ 1x Perfect Diamond

Hey, thanks for your reply.

I know the combinations and have the runes and diamonds. Issue is that when I try to upgrade in the cube nothing happens. As if the recipe is not active yet…

The recipe is probably ladder only

If it’s ladder only than it’s explainable, however I found no info stating it’s only for ladder

Can’t upgrade my set items either…

I’m encountering the same problem with my Aldur’s Rhythm Jagged Star. Put the weapon, PEmerald, Pul, and Lum into the cube but it does not transmute

I opened a topic with the same name in the Technical support forum (Upgrading set items). If you have any examples for set items that can not be upped, please list them there, so hopefully this gets fixed quick.

In the game file, the 4 set item receipes are flagged Ladder Only. There are no other ladder only receipe

Hold on. Shortly after the game launched they confirmed that anything ladder will be available to offline. This has to then be a bug or an oversight. I can understand it being ladder and not being available in normal online play but should still be available for offline. Have you tested this offline to be sure?

Maybe items should be found after 2.4 release? Maybe the formula doesn’t work with items found before?
Or it’s really ladder only…
Some clarification would be appreciated.

Im 99.9% sure they cant be upgraded until ladder, or after the first ladder finishes outside of ladder characters.

It does not seems right. Probably when the ladder is finished but not before.
And it is very easy to make a mod to have it working offline.
