i am having this problem , too.
yeah, battlenet issues, i can shortcut battlenet and log into wow, but as far as im aware there is no direct launch of diablo without it kicking into battlenet ? would anyone know a way around ?
I have issues too, battle net agent not waking up, canât reinstall Diablo 3, etc.
After deleting cache in both battlenet and blizzard library and launching diabloIII64 from its x64 library, somehow I was able to get the launcher to run (as admin). And from there I could launch Diablo.
The launcher canât find my other blizz games (OW, HS, WoW and SC2) But I can semi-prepare for S20. Actually I thought it was already live, so was psyched to see it run. But Iâll waitâŚ
Other than what I did above, which seemed a bit like a lucky fluke, the problem is at Blizzards side, so un/re-installing wonât help. Itâs incredible bad timing. Might even be related to the fact that so many are âworkingâ from home today

There is. Launch it from Command Prompt with -launch flag:
âDiablo III.exeâ -launch
Doesnât work for everyone though, have been trying the same thing for half an hour in different iterations⌠maybe iâm missing something though

Is there a way to update the game without the launcher?
I can start the game (create a shortcut to the Diablo III game, right click properties and add -launch.
However I canât start the game because itâs using the old patch.

My Battle net launcher started to work now. Itâs woke and everything. Updating stuff, cuddling me etc. Just in time for Season 20.
i w8ed and it is resolved
Create shortcut for D3.exe and use -launch command
(for me that is âC:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo III\x64\Diablo III64.exeâ -launch ) It starts with US as default region, so just go to options and change it to EU and then login old-school style.
