I regularly get black screens on certain rift maps.
The game does not crash during those 2-3 seconds and continues.
particularly bad are the maps where you are among trees, one is with snow, the other heavy fog.
I tried turning graphics down, no change. Drivers are up to date, I use a Nvidia GForce GTX 1050 Ti.
My curent suspicion is, that the big trees around the maps, and some other assets like pillars, sometimes black out my whole screen when i pass them. Seems to fit my observations.
How do I fix this?
Heya Raketenudo,
This does sound likely to be a graphics card or settings issue. Since you’ve reduced the game settings, let’s try reinstalling the drivers.
Hey Mosinathus,
thank you for the reply. I did as you asked and re-installed my graphics drivers. Unfortunately, the problem seems to persist - i again observed it in the “Inner Sanctum” map.
It seems that my first assesment was false, as the problem definitively does not have anything to do with objects that are faded out of view when crossing them, as I was able to observe the bug “in plain view”.
I’m hoping for some more input to fix this problem. Again, this problem seems to persist through different graphics settings.
