Hello,
Starting D3 with Battlenet is no problem.
When on the ingame menu I click on play.
On the bottom of the screen you can see the red daimonds flashing…but suddenly stops.
Nothing happens now and D3 is frozen.
I checked on Task Management and see D3 is no longer responding.
What I do notice also is from a process Windows Defender Antimalware Service Executable is using a hugh amount of the processor.
When force-ending D3 by Task Manager that process drop to normal standards.
When restarting D3 again the game is functioning normally.
This happens every time I start up Battlenet and playing D3 during the last 3 weeks.
Could not find any solutions on the internet so…hopefully one of you guys/girls can help me out.

I can only think to check Windows Defender and add an “exception” in there for Battle.net or Diablo 3.

It could be the interaction of D3 with another program causing the issue.
