D3 crashes on macOS (tested on M1 Pro and M2 Pro)

On both machines, I have macOS 15.4.1 / 15.5
The game freezes, then crashes, usually after 5 to 30 minutes of gameplay.
I tried lowering graphical settings, toggling VSync and Frame rate cap, switching between Fullscreen and Fullscreen(Windowed), but nothing helped.

EDIT: It seems that going to Battle.net settings and selecting
App → ON GAME LAUNCH → Exit Battle.net completely
helps a bit. The game still crashes sometimes, but not as much. I got two crashes in ~ 16 hours.

Hi Barab4,
I have the same issue here. I’ve tried several different settings for a week and I finally got it fixed. Played a month without crashes anymore.

You can try these steps:

  1. Open this folder in your Finder: /Applications/Diablo III
  2. Right click on the Diablo III.app
  3. Click “Get Info”
  4. Check “Open using Rosetta” in the panel
  5. Restart “Diablo III” with BattleNet app

It might reduce the graphic performance a little bit but it’s better than crashes.
