Diablo 2 Resurrected and the old graphics

I have to buy the game to ask a question on the forum, sorry but I don’t understand something here and that’s why I’m asking here.

I have an old laptop on which I play MedianXL and Project Diablo 2. And I have two questions about d2r.

  1. Is it possible to run this game immediately in the old graphics mode if my computer does not meet the minimum requirements in terms of RAM?

  2. Why doesn’t the old diablo (2000) have patches 2.x?

Try the US forums… I can post there but not on the EU. Might be because I have a license for Diablo II (2000).


I thought that was why they developped and released D2R…

I already know what the problem is. I downloaded the game from a torrent first and it requires DirectX 12 and on my Win 8.1 11 it’s max. I don’t want Win 10 because Windows won’t let me play anything old.

Thanks a lot Blizzard that I can’t run a game from 2000 because I don’t have Win10.
