Every time I press the “play” button in the launcher i see the logo of Diablo III on the screen and the button changes to “Launching” ,after 10-15 seconds the logo disappears and the “Launching” button changes into “Playing now” , few seconds later it changes back to “Play” while the game did not even start

Same happening here. I was playing D3 till around 1 am last night with no issues. Tried to start it up earlier today and nothing happened. Well it showed the loading start icon and then nothing. I did get an error about it being unable to start, but no relevant info as to WHY it won’t start. I’ve updated all drivers, reinstalled the game, run as admin and used the scan/repair option in the battlenet launcher to no avail. Any of the other Blizzard games (WoW, CoD: MW) seems to be working just fine.
Same for me. Tommorow it was wokring fine. Today dosen’t working.

Now the game is running. I hate razer software…
Same here… To me it shows up the following error “2F8B088A-6114-447F-984A-270CE79C52D5”, saying that i should send that as a REPORT ID to Blizzard… I tried the whole day, and the whole day i got same thing… Starts launching, then like it will open, and then back to battle.net… When will it be fixed so i can play again…

Razer Software, and other programs similar like Overwolf, have been known to cause the games to not launch through the Battle.net App. Uninstalling the programs usually works.
If the issue persists (or isn’t a Razer issue), please upload your system files to pastebin.com and reply with the links to the files using the preformatted text option to encapsulate the links.
