hello, I cannot log in Diablo 3 due to error 317002, and it seems it is a bug from your side - can you guys please work on it and fix it?

Same problem … cannot connect and error 317002 suggesting that either the server is down or that I need to update my client
For me, same problem too! I play with an NVIDIA surround configuration with 2 monitors, but I don’t think that’s this the problem.
Same here! No game can be creaated, solo or party, season or non-season.
Seems like the only game that can be created is Seasonal HC campaign mode - all other modes do not work.
Same for me here. Can’t connect for several hours now

I bought the game yesterday and started playing, I’m not even interested in playing the game online, so I’m playing a private game. I still can’t start the game. Can someone explain to me why I paid money for a game that worked for less than 24 hours? And there’s no place to send any complaint about Blizzard, because there are only automated responses everywhere…

I have had the same error and got so frustrated that i uninstalled the game in a try to fix things. But when i hear many many others have same issues i have little hope I get somewhere at least i get a clean new installation. Ty for letting us know.
Everything seems ok for me now, yesterday I could only play Hardcore Seasonal Campaign, but now I just logged in successfully into every game mode.
UPDATE: Just played Seasonal Adventure and Campaign normally.
Well i get a new error now before i get very long in initialising the game.

I too get that sometimes… click “OK” and the game will launch.
Well, if anything this incident was an opportunity for me to confirm that I’m not missing out on anything by not playing hardcore characters. Losing your character to recklessness is fine, but losing it to server crashes, connection drops and various bugs is really stupid.
This thing is already bad enough in bugged offline games (for example in Diablo 2 where a large amount of scarabs will instantly freeze your screen and when you restart the game you’ll be dead), but online games like Diablo 3 take this frustrating experience to a whole new level.
