I recently finished the starter edition of Diablo 3, while I was playing I got disconnected every 2-3 minutes (error 1016). After I finished the starter edition I thought the game was fun and purchased it. I was back at the very beginning of the game, I couldn’t change the quests in-game settings either because my only option was the intro quests to Act 1. The reason why I’m saying this in the past tense is because after I closed and opened the game, my character got deleted. At this point I’m not sure what to do, I’ve tried every fix there is to the error, the article about the story reset won’t work in my case and I’m pretty sure I won’t get my character back either.
Not a very good first impression…
