I was just coming to play D3 tonight and I double clicked my D3 icon only for it to say “can’t find the file ‘Diablo III Launcher.exe’”.
After examining my installation folder I can confirm there is no ‘Diablo III Launcher.exe’ file any more but 3 files have appeared which never used to be there; ‘Diablo III.exe’, ‘Diablo IIIp.exe’ and ‘Diablo IIIra.exe’ (and the same goes for the 64 bit folder).
Is this by design or a bug as the only way to launch Diablo III now is to use the Blizzard front end (or tray menu).
They fixed it now… Perhaps my post made them, realize they released the developer version rather than the release version! OOPS!
