Lack of technical proficiency in technical support

I have encountered problems with connectivity, massive lag spikes of over 1.5 seconds in-game, and when I asked for help from the technical support, I got “game masters” that could not even direct me to the basic tools for checking connectivity, because those tools are no longer hosted on this site, tools like WinMTR, TraceRoute, PathPing and Looking Glass Test, largely because these are damned AI responses to real issues by real people, with real problems, caused by real failing servers that have not been maintained in over a decade of mafesance to a game that deserves better than to be left to rot in a field like a dog.

It upsets me that after more than a dozen years, this is what it boils down to, being left to rot and decay.

It would be easy for me to put up an AI response to the AI “game masters” that insist that they want to help me, but in all honesty, I find that it is more eco-friendly if I type out my responses, rather than “ask” a random AI generator to provide a “passive-agressive response” to my increasingly frustrated request for real results.

Truth is, like much of this game, and many like it, the game is dying, it’s very annoying, because the original developers have been wiped away, the “DEVEPLOMENT HELL” dungeon has been removed and that is NOT OK, it was a true testament to their hard work and to the work of all the people that created this game. What is worse is that the development was stifled decades ago and people moved on with their lives, the game got stale and nothing new has happened in over 10 years.

The communities have died, slowly, but surely died and moved on with their lives.

And while my connectivity issue is a problem for me, it is a symptom, a symptom of a decaying system that is closer to the end than to the begining.

So my dear friends, enjoy the end…

Support for connection issues is no longer available from Customer Support – all CS can do now is point you to pre-approved troubleshooting such as that found in : https://eu.support.blizzard.com/en/article/13930

If the suggestions in the support note(s) don’t fix the issues you are having, you’ll need to contact your ISP or post on various D3 sites on social media.

As for the remainder of your post, that should probably go in General Discussion…
