Problem Launching D3

Just reinstalled D3 for the first time in aeons & the game flat out refuses to launch; all I get is D3D errors and a suggestion to restart my PC… even if I already have.

The last time I played was around the time RoS &/or Necromancers launched & not since. Back then I was running a 1080p setup, but now I’m running 1440p/144… is that likely to be ‘too much’?
Could the fact that D3 is on a separate SSD be anything to do with any issues? WoW seems perfectly happy…

Thanks, in advance.

Your old Diablo 3 settings might still be on your PC from before the upgrade, if you navigate to “Documents” and delete the Diablo 3 folder there, then try launching the game it might work.

If the issue persists, please upload your system files to pastebin.com and reply with the links to the files using the preformatted text option to encapsulate the links.

Only D3Prefs.txt file in Downloads is from the current installation; I’ve reformatted the C:/ drive since/when I upgraded my system.

EDIT:
Pastebin requires a PAID a/c to generate a bigger file than 512K…? No thanks, I’d rather uninstall the game.

Pastebin is ONE OF THE… services…

Any text pasting service will do to get this information to us really, you can also send the files through to Customer Support with a ticket and they can work through the problem with you too.
