I decided to come back to Diablo 3 after a season or two away and I have been getting issues where i play then all the mobs freeze as i continue and then i’m sucked back to where i was as if i had not moves often resulting in my char dying. those occurs regularly but varies between 1-5 seconds, when i’m in multiplayer (it looks like i’m standing still for that time) and also solo. so far here are the attempts to fix it so far:
-reset my network devices/PC
-reinstalled on different drives (including an ssd)
-Released and newnewed my IP and flushed my DNS
-ran it completely by itself
-repaired using the client side repair tool
-Ran it in administrator
-ran it in 32 (instead of 64)
-tried playing at different times of the day (from peak to 4am in the morning)
-updating drivers
-tried running it at the bottom graphics settings and nothing changes no matter my settings
also other notes are: I have never had the issues i am now using the exact same computer as i did before I left. also my internet provider is the same as before. This is literally the only game I have that acts like this every other one is very smooth as my PC is pretty good and my internet is also pretty good. I will update any other attempts to fix it. please can anyone help? i cant play the higher levels as every time i freezes I die instantly.
Edit 1: i have ran a cleaner on my PC and checked for viruses and its all good and nothing changed
Edit 2: I have now tested it with the firewall on and off and it changed nothing

Make sure that you update your network drivers and also close any background apps that may affect this.
If that does not work for you, please provide to us a WinMTR.
ahHA! thanks to the tip to update my network drivers i found the issue as far as I can tell! It was Nordvpn, even when it was not running or even open it must have been messing with it. after i uninstalled that its been working well!
