Server Lag + Network disconnect

Since the start of season 18 (it could have started sooner, I stopped playing in season 16) I have been experiencing intermittent server lag and server disconnects. The sequence of events is always the same, but in a bounty game, rift game or even a private game, my character suddenly becomes unable to cast any spells, or interact with the environment. I can still see the monsters attacking me and I do take damage from them and can die. When I die I cannot resurrect. Even if a party member resurrects me, I cannot accept it. Eventually I will get the notification that I have been disconnected from the server. I do not disconnect from battle net. My streaming services haven’t been impacted either.

Hi S7wede

These tests were sending test messages from the server to your PC.
No data loss or latency issues in the logs.

If you can run the WinMTR test, which test in opposite direction, i.e. from your PC to the server. This is the instruction:

Use the “Copy HTML to Clipboard” button to copy the report and then paste it in your reply.

I’ve done the winmtr test and seems like I had no issues, I’ve spoken to people in game and they also getting lag

Just an update. I spoke to my ISP and they can confirm that their network is working fine and it’s Blizzards server itself that is dropping packets.

If so, your WinMTR may help Blizzard to locate the problem.

Also, network is not just your end and Blizzard’s end. There may be many third party networks in between. That’s how “INTERNET” is named.

Well something is wrong and seems like a larger group of people can confirm it’s not in their end

dude, I know how it works and I have seen the traceroute. The problem starts and ends with the 185.60.112.157-158 range. It’s the only node on the route that has any dropped packets.

I don’t think this is going to be fixed. Techs think we are all imagining the lag. I can run my Crusader but not the Barbarian, the frustration is worse because there is no acknowledgement.

Yeah, but it seems like others are posting on here as well, so hopefully they are looking into it… I didn’t have that much lag today as previous… The first 3 days of season 18 was running with no problems… I think it’s because of classic WoW unfortunally…

Been experiencing the same thing. Previous season was a dream. Not one issue. Regardless of what system I use (PC or Mac) as the reply to my ticket was are you sure your machine has the right specs to run D3.

blizzard dont care about players … let us make some settings that are not related to the problem (s) we have, i stop to play this diablo3

good night
