Correct, the next time you’ll be able to play 2.6.9 is when it gets applied to live.
Currently, there’s been no official announcement of when that will be. However, the end of Season 20 has been announced as Sunday, 21st June and patches to live are applied between the end of a current season and the next one starting, with at least a week before the next season starts. Standard patching is done on Tuesdays in the Pacific time zone, and new seasons start on a Friday.
So, a valid timeline for this could be…
- Sunday 21st June - Season 20 ends
- Tuesday 23rd June - Patch 2.6.9 applied to live
- Friday 3rd July - Season 21 begins
