Edit: Yeah I have the maintenance message now. 4 hours, must be a doozy.

It appeared in the launcher “We will be performing scheduled maintenance beginning on Tuesday, 4 February, 20:00 (CET) and we expect service to be available again at approximately 00:00 (CET). During this time the game will be unavailable to play.”
Problem was it came up after the servers went down, hence my confusion.
