Undying enemies

Hi there,
It seems that the issue with enemies that do not die, is getting worse.
I’m having this issue on a daily base now, which is rather annoying.
Especially when you ran a GRift and need to upgrade gems, this enemy keeps killing you when upgrading… When one-hitting an enemy it should die, but instead it gains immortality.
This issue around for a long time now, but it starts to ruin the fun lately.
Hopefully this can be addressed in the near future.
Tia!

Hi,

The issue you describe is one that has been around for quite some time and has been reported many, many times… and has never been fixed.

This should be reported in the Bug Report forum… not here.

That is a special case of the issue you described… and there is a workaround… either

  • draw the monster a few screens away from Urshi, then come back quickly – the monster will stop following you once you are “too far”
  • draw the monster to the portal for the next level, go to the next floor, open a portal to town, go to town, re-enter the rift and run all the way down to Urshi – assuming Urshi is not standing near the portal to the next floor.

Again, this needs to be reported to the Bug Report forum… with enough details that the QA Team can replicate the issue.

This tends to happen in the cathedral map if the boss arrives in a certain place where zombies enter the scene from the ground through those steel floor trap doors. Kill one and another takes its place ad infinitum. Since they walk slow, yes, it’s wise to draw the boss away. Another situation is when the floor has dune stingers and exploding grotesques. If there are swarms of them, some tend not to disappear when the boss arrival is triggered. They stay regardless, so it’s an extra bane to have to kill them before tackling the boss.
