Hello guys,
Having this problem for a while and i decided to post about it cause it's getting annoying.
Since season 19 i am getting a lot of random disconnects in game. It doesn't matter if i'm in a Rift, GRift or basically doing things in town(not talking about AFK here).
Each death i got in HC was because of disconnecting randomly, also 3-4 times i d/c when boss spawn in 4p 150's - that's a lot of fun.
There's also other things like the freezes and crashes everyone complain about, plus the 1016 error - these are let's say not that often as disconnects.
As i search through the forum i found out that i must provide the WinMTR logfile, did that for both EU server IPs, you can find them below:

Usually for ae1-br01-eqld5.as57976.net, i get higher latency, like bigger than 2300ms, next one or next 2 are almost always timed outs.
I followed the suggestions from your articles as reseting network devices, router settings, etc. I also have a dynamic IP that changes each time i reconnect the router to the provider via PPPoe, and did the test with 3 different IPs - same story.
I closed all other startup programs that were running, i have enabled only Realtek and iCUE from Corsair for mouse and keyboard. I did thought that doing this will be the solution as i had like 6 hours without d/c, unfortunately it seems that they are often after 14:00 - 15:00 CET.
Any suggestions? Anything else that i can provide for investigations?
Thank you
In both of your WinMTR traces, the initial hop - 192.168.0.1 - is showing 15% / 19% packet loss. IP addresses in the range 192.168.x.x are internal, non-routable addresses which means that packet loss is occurring inside your house, either your PC, modem or router.
There’s also some very odd behaviour in the trace further into the hops, as the number of packets sent / received isn’t the same throughout the trace. Initial couple of hops have under 500 packets, further into the trace has 700+
I’d suggest you speak to your ISP’s tech support, show them these traces, and ask them to investigate the packet loss issues.
Hmm, probably i did a mistake by collecting this with 2 WinMTR instances for both IPs in the same time.
See them again, below:

I'm not sticking with checking this with the ISP as i played the game from another provider in another city and had the same issues.
And as far as i know the hop ae1-br01-eqld5.as57976.net is kinda not in my ISPs jurisdiction, i'm 100% sure it is in blizzard's network.
@Meteorblade - you reported a similar thing last year, did you solve this by talking to the ISP support? Thread here: https://eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/d3/t/very-high-latency-spikes-to-eu-servers-problem-hop-seems-to-be-ae1-br01-eqld5as57976net/1646
There's another user there that has the same ISP as mine.
For a moment let's stop blaming user's ISPs and look into the real problem.
Also as i mentioned in the first post that i do not use a modem, the ISP cable enters the router directly and the connection to their network is done via PPPoe.
