In the last season i’m getting a ping of AT LEAST 170 to europe servers. what happened?
Can we know where the eu servers are located at?
Every other game, including Overwatch, i’m getting between 50-70 ping.

Hi,
Where are you located ?
I’m in Canada (Quebec) and my in-game latency (the coloured bar to the left of the resource balloon) is registering 120-125 msec… about normal for me when I play on Europe.
Have you tried some troubleshooting ?
There’s also that Blizzard post at the top of this forum:
You might want to run a WinMTR and see if it shows anything out of ordinary
Hey, i’m from Israel but what does it matter? my ping in other europe based servers is 60-70 and in the past in Diablo 3 also.
I don’t want to make all sorts of manipulation to my network because 1 game have servers problems…
Just wonder where those so called eu servers are located at?
BTW, In the Americas i’m getting better, stable ping then from the eu servers.
*The winMTR shows ping of about 60 until i’m reaching diablo server.

It does matter a whole lot because your data need to travel to Blizzard’s servers… these used to be near Paris, but Blizzard shut down its European Centre there and I don’t know where they are now.
Your data is likely using a different route and is making better times.
No reason i’ll get a better route to USA then to europe?
I really don’t understand where do you coming from
Anywhere in Europe will be closer then USA
Distance is only part of the equation… if some relays along the way are having trouble right now, the transmission time will be longer.
Somewhat similar to a road having heavy traffic travelling a low speed versus another one with less traffic and better speed.
You can see in the winMTR there is no problem in relays until i reach Blizzard server.
Moreover - i there were any problems with any relays along the way i would have a ping problem reaching other servers in europe.
Did blizzard move its data and processing to the uk last year?
IDK tha’ts what i’m asking…
I’m trying to resolve this with my ISP but they don’t see a problem on my end.
“Your Blizzard products and services are now provided by Activision Blizzard UK Limited. You can access and read our updated [EULA]”
IDK if that also includes the game servers
hmm I shouldn’t have problems getting there…
Well fml… this season looks cool
