in the first post, I pointed out that all settings are on ultra except for textures, they are on high.

Previously, I used 115% scaling, today I returned it to 100% and the textures in general are better, but still some are of poor quality.

AMD settings are set to default.

Available? You mean “I set everything on Ultra except for Textures”. And shadows, which you forgot but then added later.

Anyway, if you want my further analysis, please send screenshots from game video settings and tell me what Radeon driver version you have and if you reset it to default. Thanks.

From what I see here, you do not have High Resolution texture pack (40 GB) installed. And you already set everything to maximum. So, all is well! This is the best you can get. You can’t install 40GB textures pack because your PC is not powerful enough to display it anyway.

Last thing, go to AMD Radeon panel and reset everything to default. Then run the game again. Maybe you decreased something in Radeon settings.

And my personal recommendation, is to increase image sharpening to 25 in game settings (you have it at 11). The image is very crisp with this setting.

thanks, the ultra texture pack was downloaded, but it is not available. and in terms of sharpness, if I expose more, then the picture is somehow very sharp, the eye is not happy.

Ultra textures won’t run without heavy stuttering on 8GB GPUs and even on more depending on the resolution your playing and if you are also running more than 1 display.

I have to set textures to MEDIUM and even then i get minor stutters in town etc. with my 8GB 2070S (1440P @ DLSS quality or balanced depending on my framerate cap).

Even with high textures i get frequent stuttering.
32GB of DDR4 RAM which also increases the VRAM to RAM swapping stutters (DDR5 has a higher bandwidth which helps a bit).

So basically i’m playing with PS2 quality textures which look way worse than D3 while consoles run ultra textures fine :crazy_face:

I hope Blizz is already working on improving their memory management for PC.

Cool. For me, 25 sharp look fine because my screen resolution is 4K and pixel dot is small. You may have different sweet spot for your DPI.
