Bat textures, please fix it

Bad textures, all settings are on ultra, only high settings are available for textures, but in the game some textures are terrible, the level of 2000s. Characteristics r5 5600h, 6600m, 16 ram

Do you have the ultra textures pack installed? It’s optional.
Also afaik ultra textures require 32GB of RAM.

Yeah 8GB doesn’t cut it anymore :frowning:
But still, it should be enough in this game.
It’s more an optimization issue on Blizz’s end.
They got alot to fix including the CPU/GPU load spikes in the inventory/vendor ui and in the char select screen.
Also the memory leaks are still not fully fixed, better than in the beta but still eating up VRAM/RAM like it’s nothing.

My friend plays on Nvidia GTX 1070, 8GB, non-Ti card. Everything on Low, constant 60 fps. No stuttering.
So I don’t think we can sweep everything under “not optimized game” category. Perhaps it’s your system or drivers, if you have experiencing any issues while playing on 8GB VRAM card?

Your friend plays on low settings on a 1070 and you call that optimized?
Have you seen how the game looks on low? A switch game would sh.t on it :smiley:

No, you said “Yeah 8GB doesn’t cut it anymore”. Well, it does, game is totally playable on that, that’s what I am saying, not only playable but 100% stable.

I am calling this out as not true, I’ve just given you an example how game is fully operational with 8GB card.

I am not sure what is your problem at this point.

This is normal with high textures.
There are many low res textures without ultra textures and even then some still are…

Ok, so let’s have a look. You have 16GB of RAM, while Ultra settings require 32GB RAM, and I would argue, more than 16GB of VRAM too. And you say your card is Radeon RX 6600M? With 8GB VRAM? That one?

And your CPU is 45W mobile AMD Ryzen 5 5600H.

I think this hardware is a bit underpowered to deliver smooth gameplay with all on Ultra settings, including extra texture pack.

Can you show screenshot of settings in the game you use currently?
Also, in your Radeon settings, reset everything to default and try again.

All settings are at maximum except for textures and shadows, they are high. FPS in the game is about 80-90, so I think my technical characteristics are more than sufficient. There are no friezes and starters at all.

So you use Textures on High? Not on Ultra? This contradicts your first post.

Good to hear game is stable.

Send screenshot of your settings in game, last think which must be checked it resolution scaling, if you enabled this, your textures look will suffer. I won’t be asking in every post for a screenshot.

Last thing, how about Radeon settings in AMD tool? Do you use default settings or decreased some processing quality for the card? (also asking for a second time)

32 GB of RAM is required only for ultra texture settings and not for the game as a whole, the textures are high, but I think there should not be a downgrade from the game on such a scale
