[BUG] - Fury Against Fate

Fury Against Fate Quest bugged at stage “Clear the cannibal feeding ground”.
Talked with NPC and then killed som bandits but no progress and cave is empty.
NPC group standing still in start of dungeon.
Tried Abandonding the quest and retaking it but when i enter the cave the NPC’s are still stuck there and progress is stuck.
Please fix this.

I am having the same problem, quest seems to be bugged.

Attempted it now two times with same result. Leader makes her speech, quest updates to “Clear the cannibal feeding ground”, killed everything and nothing happens. Group still standing at the start.

Tried 10 different things - arriving there when the Event wasn’t ongoing, when it was, abandoning quest and trying again (with both requirements mentioned above), tried going to the gate, in order to “supposedly” move out of the Event’s quest area that’s happening above the ground (since we are in a cave, underground) and god knows what else.

Still f bugged.

Yup - Same here. First quest bug I’ve encountered over about 70 hours now.
Exact same issue as described in these comments - Go meet her in the cave. Does speech. Kill whoever is there and then nothing.
Exit cave, shows still active, go back in and nothing. Abandon and restart, quit and log back in, repeat and nothing.

Defo bugged - Please fix.

Still bugged just ran into the same issue…

What worked for me (even though it doesn’t make any sense):

  1. Enter cave and talk to NPC
  2. Even if they don’t follow you, clear the cave
  3. Leave and re-enter game, you will be ported to a city
  4. Enter cave again and talk to NPC
  5. NPC follows you and event works

I did the leave and come back thing… still didnt move. I lured the monsters up the hall to get them moving. That worked. But now they are just standing in the middle giving me no prompt… Its stuck stuck.

Same problem nothing worked

  • Tried changing world tiers - not working
  • Tried relogging / leaving the game over 15 times - not working
  • Tried clearing before talking to her - not working
  • Tried the previously suggested workaround of leaving from inside the cave and porting to city then going back - not working
  • Tried emoting at the NPCs - also not working even though this seems really far fetched

Edit:

  • Tried also kiting the mobs towards the NPCs at the start to trigger them. All they did was kill the mobs but still wouldn’t trigger the movement…
  • Tried also kiting the mobs around the NPCs so that the NPCs get to the end of the cave before killing the mobs… Also not working and the quest remains bugged and not progressing…

Overall this seems to be a 0.01% chance to work for somebody, and even if it doesnt, there should be at least this feature called “Bug Reporting” which seems to be missing all together from the game or Forums…

What worked for me was starting the conversation in the cave, exit the cave and re-enter. The forces then attacked the barrier and pressed on further into the cave triggering the event. I was able to complete it like this and trying all above did not work for me. Even tried crashing my game but always ended up in a town and the quest was reset.

Thx for the tip, but still did not work for me.

Edit: nvm… i did it a 2nd time, after going out of the cave i waited like 1-2 minutes, and when i came back in they were moving to the barrier. Worked, thx.

Don’t waste time with imaginary fixes, abandoning quest, relogging, clearing events etc.

Keep going out and in (don’t talk to NPCs) and check if the gate is attackable. If it is not, you’ll be able to do the quest. Eventually you’ll get lucky and get ported to an instance where the NPCs aren’t bugged.

I have tried everything and still doesnt work for me, wall is always in red and can be attacked :/. Didnt speak with the NPC’s and no luck, any other suggestion please?
