Unfortunately, I have been confronted with constant game crashes since the launch of S4. Every 10-15 minutes I get a crash followed by a “Fenris Debug”. I have already tried/disabled everything in the settings. I have been able to use D4 on my PC system for months without any problems, but since today the game crashes constantly. It is therefore likely that it is caused by the new patch… has anyone had similar experiences?
I use an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X and a RTX 3060 TI

Also have an 4090 + 14900K, but my system never crashes in anything, tested it hardcore. Cancelled the gaming for now, cause 3 crashes every 10 minutes. ZERO fun. blizzard fix your game. Or maybe you guys find a soulution, would be nice. Just installed my gpu driver new now, but I doubt that helps…

Having the same issue, no one thing is the seeming trigger, sometimes im randomly riding on a horse, other times looking at inventory in town, ive been on for maybe an hour, im level 21, ive crashed maybe 10 times already.

Same issue here. i7-12700k & 4080 All drivers are up to date, network history shows a stable connection. Every 15 minutes or so I get a disconnect message and get dumped to the login screen or the desktop (random).
Especially infuriating when I’m farming embers in Helltide and dieing costs me 75% of the Embers…

Also same issue with crashing, running as Necro, but usually see these crashes after porting or trying to leave game.
Got a message that ran out of memory, might be a memory leak issue.

Then there definitely seems to be a problem here! I have already rummaged through all sorts of forums and tried fixes, unfortunately without any success. There definitely seems to be a general problem here that Blizzard needs to solve!

It Seems i found an fix for myself ( a friend told me )
I turned: Nvidia Frame Generation in the settings off and since then it works sofar
Thank you , The issue was resolved when I turned off Nvidia Frame Generation, hopefully Blizzard will fix the issue and allow me to turn it back on.

Blizzard please contact Nvidia and fix this. Frage Gen should work without crash.
UPDATE:
For me it has nothing to do with frame gen. I disabled it, still crashed in same 10 minutes. It crashes faster, when I do something on my second monitor, while the game runs.
It should be GPU related.

Have the same issue, been trying to change some settings but these Fenris crashes are new.
I managed to delay it by increasing my Virtual Memory on the drive the game is installed on, but it still crashes me after 1-2 hours, giving the Fenris Crash.
It’s definitely an issue caused by the new update / season.
Disabling Nvidia DLSS Frame Generation / Nvidia Reflex Low Latency does not change anything.

As a follow up, i continued to crash last night until i just got off the game, i made it just to level 40, and was crashing at least once a level, doing various things in various parts of the world that werent at all related.
Nvidia frame gen was already off in my settings, which is the first thing i checked when i saw the warning notice on the launcher after the second crash i had… Ive not had any issues like this with crashing since the first alpha test. This is unsustainable, i cant even enjoy the game and this whole season is about messing around in the one event that if your character dies you loose half the resource you are collecting in the area, and dcing in the middle of events doesnt always remove you from the world fast enough
For me, the game closes when I notice that it has a high processing rate at the moment, before closing the game out of nowhere and the “Fenris Debug Error” screen appears, the game always pre-crashes and then the error occurs, I noticed it a lot with me This also happens when interacting with my second monitor and also most of the time when using a teleport, but it has also occurred while playing a scenario.

Same here, also tried deactivating Disabling Nvidia DLSS Frame Generation / Nvidia Reflex Low Latency and many other things. Checked all drivers, everything is up to date. It always worked before, but since the S4 patch yesterday it crashes every 10-15 minutes.
This is absolutely and without any doubt due to the new patch and this is clearly Blizzard’s fault! It would be nice to read or hear something from the official side? These don’t seem to be isolated cases. @BLIZZARD !!!

Also noticing that over time, the crashes happen more frequently, even after a full PC restart.

I am finding the game crashes a lot more frequently and the majority of the time unable to even login to the game if i have an internet browser or discord open.
Once i close them all down i can play for around 20minutes maybe before i click an npc or stash then i am gone.
between crashing and next to no story for this season… just smash through helltides till you’re end game then repeatedly do that… nope… this is no more interesting than it was
Same here. Cant play even 10 min.
