It seems (no surprise really) that all Blizz are interested in is money. Fleece the players for an over-priced broken game and laugh all the way to the bank.
What they don’t seem to realise is us (the players) will leave in droves unless this obvious fault is fixed.
On a side note and completely unrelated, who thought not having a selectable auto loot option in the game (and D3, but that is fixed to a degree with the altar), was a good thing? Click. click and click some more to try and pick stuff up! Why not have a choice? It really detracts from the immersion of the game

i just stopped playing since the start of s4 because of these freezes / crashes and didn’t buy the expansion. won’t buy until it is fixed

Exact same issue. I found this post while looking for answers and I’m surprised others are having the same experience. The game was working perfectly when I played last year. I decided to get into the new season with friends, and now I am met with constant crashes. I don’t think either of my friends are facing any issues. That’s why I thought it was just me.
Still broken here. One day we may get an answer. Maybe Season 7?

Started D4 in february 24 with S3, on every start (PC) got a message “NVDIA card not supported you may experience pbs” but had just a few freezes from time to time, it was playable 98% of time, all graphical settings set on low. Installed and tested PTR S4 with no issue.
Installed PTR S5 2 days ago, no more message on start but since then both PTR and S4 constantly crashes my computer: black screen, have to reboot. No other crashing outside of Diablo 4.
Repaired, reinstalled, still cannot play more than 10 minutes, cannot find any solution anywhere so far

Definitely can’t buy the Xpac if it isn’t addressed. What would be the point? It’ll be the first Diablo release that I haven’t bought, since 1999. But I’m not throwing good money after bad. ;(
Newer player. No crashing up till mid 50s. Started tier 3 and now I’m crashing every 20-40 min at random. Sad there’s no fix

i really thought my new PC built 1 year ago RTX 4090 OC with 64GB of DDR5 RAM my CPU is AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D im returning to the game after Season 2 and now every 2 hours it just crashing i thought my pc was damaged did a firemark ULtra Strees benchmarking test on steam passed 99%. i can confirm my friends on pc are crashing also and no idea how to fix … i just need some answers

Same when teleporting or in hell tides this is just annoying and why they haven’t addressed this is beyond belief

Reinstalled Diablo 4 without HD, low frame, … still freezing / crashing … sometimes it works, sometimes it does not, all other games, apps work ok on my PC, for over a week now.
I cannot play the game. Random freezing and having to restart was annoying. Getting completely booted from my game multiple times in an hour means there isn’t even a game any more.
Still broken. Please fix the game.

The game after s4 is ver hard to play for mine. last 5 min and then the lag begin till fenris error. yes i have a high latency etc etc but seem to me that a choice is made; too expensive to solve this design bug because is quite impossible to me believe that blizz cant solve.
Hmm, I installed the latest “Nvidia App” beta, its the replacement for Geforce Experience and I have levelled a new character 1-41 with no crashes.
I did also level a new character from 0 to 80ish in a few days, but know have the same problems trying to play this (now 96) character, like all other 100s I have … as if the game could not load and hold all data character beyond a certain limit ??
