Same issue here. I was playing last night and all was well. Today… I get kicked every 5 minutes… it is IMPOSSIBLE to do anything at all in the game. EVERY SINGLE SEASON I have the same problem.

Aqui igual y he probado de todo fue desde el parche, antes sin ningún tipo de problema, tengo un ryzen 5 7600x y una Amd Radeon 6800 Xt, el juego instalado en mi ssd principal y es continuo a veces me deja jugar una hora otras veces cada 10 min me echa.
This seems rather likely. My game does not crash at any specific moment, but there’s a lot of stuttering and the screen freezes for seconds at a time.
Before season 4 I rarely had problems and most games I play are completely without issues.
I find the silence from Blizzard a bit strange, though.

Same issue here. Been crashing to desktop every 10-20 minutes all day.
This needs a fix ASAP.
Edit: Played only Nightmare dungeons for a few hours with no crashes, went into a Helltide and crashed after about 15 minutes. Rolled back my drivers to 552.44.
Tried playing Nightmare dungeons again, but crashed in the second dungeon.
Seems so random…
Guess I’m taking a break until Blizzard has fixed this, which really sucks because I’m having too much fun with my barb.

I don’t know if it is the same problem, to me it doesn’t give me any error, it just freezes for a few seconds (variable) and then it works again, like when you have lag, and if I’m lucky I haven’t been killed or not.
I played the previous seasons without problems, with the same PC and I have returned to play the new one and I can not play.
Blizzard could you help us?

hello all i had the same problem it has to with diablo or newest driver from nvidia i did a rollback from my drivers of nvidia to this version 552.22 April 16, 2024
and im playing agian
I tried both rolling back the driver and uninstalling geforce experience, still crashing within minutes.

Hey, back again. I may have a temorary fix for anyone who wants to try. First off is to turn any peripheral lighting that might be connected to Diablo 4, for instance a razor light up keyboard that interacts with the game. The other fix for me was to delete the folder names Diablo 4 inside of the documents tab in file manager.
Not sure which it was that fixed this, but the memory leak seems to have calmed down. I’m assuming that the deletion of the Diablo 4 folder is also a temporary fix and you may have to repeat it later on.
Welp that is all I needed to delete this game for this season. Cheers

Same here. All the time latency is 60+ msc. Never dropped below. Still 5-10 sec. lag ingame or black screen between instances. 100$ game and really still something like that happens 
25 yrs playing Diablo and now Blizz you losing another fan. Anger and sadness at the same time. Cheers

Seems to be fixed for now, still getting freezing but no crashes
Same for me on 1050 Ti, freeze for ~10 sec but no crash.
I also tried playing on NVidia GeForce NOW, did two 1h sessions on free tier subscription (RTX 2080) and there were no issues, just one 5 sec freeze at the beginning of the game, it performs better than my old laptop so I am switching to playing there, lol

Try this : “Change DisableChromaEffects from 0 to 1 in LocalPrefs.txt file, it helped to me with disconnects. People used it earlier in beta against some problems with the game, but it still helpeth.” Maybe it will help.

I reinstalled for s4. I was able to get to lvl 35 or 40 and the crash monster has made the game completely unplayable. I was at work for several days and hoped bliz would fix their shit but the tiny patch they dropped hasnt fixed shit.

Had a support ticket open for this. They sent me the AI generated “turn your router off and reinstall” mumbo jumbo and marked it as resolved. I reopened stating everything had been tried already and got another AI generated response saying to “check the forums” and am no longer able to reopen the ticket. The top post on the forums is about the issue I’m having. A+ customer support blizzard.

Yup, i got the exact problem and i got a nvidia 4070…
Today already got 3 times, one of them on fallen temple and I was almost at the end.

Just a suggestion, I solved this issue a couple of months ago, which was suggested by some users in our forum.
Delete dstorage.dll and dstorage.dll.bak from C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo IV. Somehow after doing so, it runs pretty stable.
Try it at your own risk, at most, just repair/reinstall a copy.
This worked for me, lemme know if this helps!
