D4 Ultimate Edition Purchased, Battle Net telling me I can't play yet

Thank you, thank you! I feel loved here, with my people! :)) I wonder if, after over 1 and a half hours of seeing this blue inactive play button, i should go to sleep and try again after or just wait with teary eyes for a miracle

so here again, launched it with shortcut -launch and got a new FenrisDebug.txt

I launched it at 02:45 (date created) and says following:
I 2023.06.02 00:44:27.239209 [Sigma] 1.0.2.42016 (214657-15548175)

So I assume (more likely hope) that it’s wait for another 6 minutes and good to go :stuck_out_tongue:

did not unlock  xD

Why does it still say Pre-Purchase on top here? xD

No idea, it’s infuriating that it has all the pre-purchase info. I had assumed that was just standard Bliz rubbish.

I’m trying deleting various files from the D4 install directory and running scan / repair. So far, no luck. I honestly don’t expect it to work, but I’m awake anyway, so just trying.

Yea me too  made me a coffee at 1 am when it was supposed to unlock

Pah, no it didn’t. Worth trying though. It gave me a login error.

This just worked for me (per above, NO IT DIDN’T)!
If your Battle.net client won't give you a "Start" button, try this: - PC General Discussion - Diablo IV Forums

"Make a new shortcut on the desktop and put this in the target field:

“C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo IV\Diablo IV.exe” -launch

It will force the game to open for you, assuming you have installed it in the default location. If not, just make a shortcut to wherever the .exe is located, and add -launch at the end."

Error code 7 when you start this appears

Yeah - I tried a region change (see here: [PC] Unable to Log In with Digital Deluxe or Ultimate Edition Early Access? Info Here! - Technical Support - Diablo IV Forums). Set it to America, and I’ve now got to character creation.

Logout > Log In To America > Log In
Log out > Log Back in to Europe!!
Fixed!

Yeah, I’m in now.

Good luck all, and have a great time. (I’m hoping this works for all of us).

I had to close Battle.net and also close the battle.net process running in the background by clicking the symbol in the taskbar in Windows. Once I restarted, I was able to install!
