Dear Blizzard: DO something about the Pit

But trash is not a problem. I can clear the path to the boss in a couple of minutes, just walking and teleporting and everything just explodes around me. The problem is the final boss… Even though I 'm using Ring of Starless SKies and Harlequin Crest…

Anyway, I’ll try placing more points on flame shield. Thank you.!

Mate I dont even have starless skies nor harlequin crest. I cant kill tormented bosses alone so I cant farm them and I for once aint going to farm 50 mill cash to wait in order to craft one once I someday have the “materials” to it and I sure as hell aint going to pay 50 mill to another player to get that helmet either.

P.S
Having extra points in flameshield helps very little. 0.1 seconds per level, its not much. Ofc you want the optimal 4 levels from the chest piece, maxed levels manually and the duration % as high as possible. After that all you can do is stack up cooldowns from every damn place you can or else its no fun.

I am on sorc too. Using only Cold Shild and passive that gives Barrier every time i use CD
doing around lvl 80 pit
I agree that some builds and classes are weaker - game still have no balance
But i dont see a problem with one-shots
I see a problems with lack of content with disbalance or imbalance
with bad mechanics, unenjoyable game modes, lack of ingame targets (for example: i dont know why i need to farm Pit if 8/12 is enough)

necro maybe barb maybe, but druid no they need to be buffed on Minions tbh. maybe nerf the Wolfnado yes but thats it

There is no way Sorc can have that amount of Life. How can this difference and disjunction even be existing in the same game?

But you can make invulnerable Sorc. And you can make more than 32k hp easily.

I mean there is a huge imbalance overal between all classes and builds and i am aware of it, but 32k hp? Come on.

I know I can have more HP and have Flame Shield, but I don’t like Flame Shield and Im Chain Lightning player. Until that Skill gets proper design treatment I play other games it’s that simple.

You dont want sorc with that kind of hp, if you go 200k hp with sorc you have absolutely no dmg and doubt thats even possible (at least very easily) since barb for example has an passive skill which increases your maximum life as %.

Hp and defense mean nothing. With some testing and reasearch i already saw single hits with damage far above 1 million to a player from these shadow bosses appearing in the pit. My research was mostly pit level 70 and 80 but even certain bosses on 50 and 60 range can hit with that. And that is bad, lazy and absolute annoying.
I have questions:
Also why is dungeon before the boss so extremly easy comparded to the boss? Why is the loot so pathetic? Why are there almost only one shots, in a ARPG no less? Why is the pit just NMD without loot and these damn animus evnets? Lazy much?

lol its not really possible unless you get lucky. the whole game is luck based for item rolls

a) dont even bother doing 40+ pits with less than 50k health
b) you have to run a busted meta build to go higher than 50+
c) the end game is designed for sweaty streamers not ordinary gamers

After the game being patched I still get one-shotted on a regular base but it is not a disaster anymore like it was before. For me it usually comes down on timing the use of “blood mist” on certain mechanics, which makes me unvulnerable for a small amount of time.
My gear is pretty good I would say, presently using 2 uber-uniques (Harlequin Crest and Melted Heart of Selig) in combination with mostly 2 star lvl 925 legendaries which all have tempering and 12/12 on masterworking. I am doing pit lvls 90+ atm, but still get one-shotted at the lvl 60 pitbosses on certain occassions in case I require ingolite. Since I do not use any resources at all they are always full and are being used as a damage buffer since the Melted Heart of Selig drains 2 resources for 1% of maximum life You would lose when being hit, upto a maximum of 75% of the damage You take. Still, it does not avoid getting killed instantly at the end-bosses by certain mechanics. I truly believe that “better gear” is not the issue here, as I am able to take on the tormented versions of Zir, Vazhir, Duriël and Andariel which are lvl 200.

I got as far as level 82. I am not a sweaty meta streamer… I don’t even have a webcam. It all changes though once you get to 80+, I breezed it up until that point, now shadow bosses simply 1 shot me. I have a constant barrier for 65% of my overall health, which takes it to about 60K hp. It doesn’t matter what your HP is… The damage from shadow bosses are horribly scaled, yes make it hard, hell, I’ve had fun but making it impossible isn’t going to make people love the game. I expect to take heavy dmg but not 60kHP 1 shot missles from Elias shadow and Lilith Shadow. I noticed the guardian is also pretty tough 80+, myself I wanna get to 100 in the Pit. That would make me very happy. I had my necro do the Pit and she couldn’t get passed 60-61, yet my druid breezed it up until 80. It’s really down to your gear, class and your reaction time. I’ve died a bunch of times due to poison bubbles. These instantly kill you regardless of armor/resistances… When I mean instantly, I mean after about 1 second you die, then when the mobs reset and run away, you noticed the poison bubble on the floor.

oneshotoneshotoneshotoneshotoneshotoneshotoneshotoneshotoneshotoneshot…
learn to resistance.

There is a huge imbalance overal between all classes and builds.

yeah “unbalance” is the perfect word for describe blizzard (and lazy and incomp… etc etc)

in D3 some set are shitty from start to end and never get balanced, BUT they do a great job with GR mob/boss
some boss have OS mechanics but not every boss, and they do it from time to time AND you have cheat death with you build and/or campanion so you can “tank” this OS mechanics if you dont do shit before its coming.

If you die you dont need to restart the fight again, you “just” loose time.

they do a lot of great thing with D3, i dont understand why they do shit like this with D4 …

Now since they nerfed pits a little bit, it seems a lot easier but still the shadow mechanics are ridiculously op and fill often the whole arena you fight at so gl dodging it.
My thorn barb runs 100 just fine now, but unbuffed I go 50k+ Attack power, 11k+ defense (Ik its too much but the devs hate players and made it impossible to find gear in endgame) with 205k+ base health which gets the fortified health on top of it so its 410k+ health. This is without buffs and potions.
What I mean is, its easy with something like this. Not so easy with classes which cant reach 200k+ base health and have high damage reduction active pretty much constantly.
Sorcs for example suck atm and I hate that they have sucked pretty much whole time, its my favorite class… I hate playing barbarian. Barb and Necro are such baby-fed-bullshit-garbage its not fun to play at all.

and thats the problem, they dont think and work on the mechanics, they just put some " - X % life" and call “we balance pit” no no no they just remove some heal/base damage because they dont understand how work their game …

i couldn’t have said it better myself.
not only that i just seen in the hotfix that tal rasha was giving TOO much damage, HOW we have next to no damage at ALL
i’m scared to log in and see how much worse she has become.
i’m NOT buying the Any expansion pack or Any cosmetics if all they give a f*** about is Barbarian class because of skinny streamers

Blizzard 2 things!
1 - Buff the sorcerer so someone actually wants to play the character, have fun, and be on a level playing field with the other characters.
2 - The Pit, what the heck! Complete BS mechanics! The one shot mechanic is absolutely irritating as S. But on top of that, if you have the boss to a vulnerable state, how about the shadow not show up in the middle and 1 shot me!

I’m having fun but getting over this really fast. I’m starting to want to find another game to play!
