Diablo 4 is a relatively new game. It had a rough start but it’s progressively getting better in many ways. I still see two glaring issues with the game though:
If you have played Diablo 4 for enough time to get to the mid game or simply watched a streamer attempt to put together a build, you will know that many builds are the result of some unintended interaction or simply bugs. What’s worse is that these unintended interactions and bugs seem to last quite a while sometimes spanning multiple seasons.
As a Diablo 4 player, I am often excited and happy to see the effort the designers put into the game as I read the frequent updates to the game. Every season brings great changes, or at least attempts to. But I can’t help but notice those 20-50% damage boosts to abilities that are underperforming by a factor of 10-100x or are simply broken and don’t work as intended. We as players know this often after a mere few play sessions. Heck, we test these first thing with every season start hoping they are fixed. Do the designers not know it? I am not really trying to be rude or anything. I am simply giving feedback. These bugs and large delta’s in performance in different abilities and builds are game breaking for me.
Do others here feel the same?

Developers have problems with math. For example, “attack power” doth not reflect actual damage. Ye need to look at the real numbers in the tips. It’s a pity thou dost not know Russian, I would give thee a video of one blogger who explained in detail the mechanics of the game, indicating all the errors, and how incompetent the developers are in this sense.
P.s. But thou can try, just use auto translator of subs. Eng-Rus is not bad.

Thanks for sharing that video. I did watch it and it’s very comprehensive. I really think the game is in need of improvements to how things are calculated and communicated to the player. I would also like to add that huge multipliers create massive deltas between builds and within the same build if incomplete.

did you see their own video trailer of season 2 when they couldnt even do basic math? it was funny and sad at the same time.

Yes, I have seen it. I am hoping it’s just a typo to be honest…Still, I think D4’s calculations need an overhaul.
Gushing wounds with 800% crit damage and 50% crit chance should raise a bleed 8.5 times the normal value.
Rend that deals 108,000 (x8) over 8 seconds should deal 864,000 in eight seconds.
So why am I seeing 12,000 per second and not relatively close to 108,000 per second?
Season 5 Barbarian.
I think i solved it. 108,000 x 0.085 = 9180 dmg.
Diablo 4 math is wrong. This means somewhere in their code, they divided by 100 a second time. Im beginning to believe their test server has better math which why we see all the crazy builds work on that end, but actual players cant reach anywhere near those numbers because the math is still wrong in the official servers
They are INCOMPETENT hacks, why do you trust them?
